So good! This is a walk up window with an outdoor seating area in front. It is a tiny mom and pop place, so it takes a little while but oh so worth it! Fresh and delicious. We had grilled halibut that was just perfect, mine on a yummy salad and hubby's on a sandwich with generous fries. Just fyi, there are picnic tables behind the marine museum a short walk from this place that are more spacious.

Unreal fresh food . Wraps are large and tasty . Vegetables always taste fresh . French fries are well done and crispy. Just found this place last week and have been for lunch 3 times already . Staff are very friendly .Highly recommend.

We just drove down from Nanaimo for fish and chips. This is the third and likely last time we will try. We got here about 40 minutes before the scheduled closing time and were told bruskly out of food and closed. I know they are popular and have always been great but come on. I checked their website and Facebook page before leaving on the 40 minute drive. No notice. This was an anniversary treat because of the good memories and food. I do understand that the food is fresh and people can run out but still disappointed. They did tell us it was a busy day and we have always enjoyed the quality but perhaps summer at the heat of the tourist season one would plan better. The 2 rating was based on no food and not on the quality. PS it still says open till 3 pm.

If you like fast food, lots of batter, salty clam chowder-that’s the place. No bathroom or sink to wash hands, though.
