I cannot give this a stronger 5.0/5.0. For the price, these are some of the best wines in the world. Regardless of price, they're still incredible, they could charge double or triple and get no complaints. You need to try these wines, I'm so glad I found them.

Had a lovely morning with Julie at Alderlea! I'm generally a red wine drinker but do like white, as well. The pinot gris and Valerie were the finest whites I've ever sampled, in almost 50 years of drinking wine.

Julie took us in on short notice and she gave us an incredible experience!We were also greeted by Vino the dog, amazing hospitality!We purchased one of every kind of wine they had ?I can't recommend this winery enough, we will definitely be back again when we're in the area!

In an area with a breadth of winery options, Alderlea is a top-notch choice. Their tastings are by appointment only but this is an asset as you get undivided attention and aren’t forced out for other groups like you would experience elsewhere.Julie and her dog Vino were great hosts and talked with us honestly and passionately about the work. Several of their wines were a huge hit and we walked away with a full box of wine. Couldn’t recommend enough!

Zac and Julie (and Vino the dog) were hospitable, friendly, and their enthusiasm for what they do is infectious. Their winery is clearly a labour of love (and hard work).And the wines? Sensational! Every one we tasted was great, and their Pinot Gris might be the best we’ve ever had.I can not recommend Alderlea too highly. It’s a must for anyone touring the island.

We had a lovely visit at Alderlea. Julie was kind enough to book us on short notice (just before they opened!). We were welcomed by Julie and vino the doggy. Julie was knowledgeable, clearly passionate and proud about the wine making process and product, and made us feel comfortable as beginner wine drinkers. The wine was excellent and we'd be happy to come back on our next visit to the Island!

The owners were really kind, introduced the vineyard in lots of detail and answered all our questions. The wine tasting covered a good range of delicious wine. The atmosphere was relaxed and they made us feel welcome. As a bonus we got some amazing figs straight off the tree.
