Went in just after noon on a Wednesday, was looking for a couple of dinner type buns and a lunch snack. NO buns whatsoever and was told, "We have been busy and don't have any this time of day." ? The outside sign says "Bakery". As far as a snack they had over priced pre-made sandwiches and some ham and cheese croissants. Decided on two croissants and a French baguette instead of dinner buns for our supper..... damn near $20...!!!! It appears to me to be a yuppy coffee place that must do wholesale baking because there were numerous staff and a couple of customers having coffee and not a whole lot of baked items on the shelves. The picture is what was inside the "ham & cheese croissant".... you should be ashamed of yourself Hank, a single slice of processed ham and a coating of cheese for over $7 a piece?!!

Some of the best bread I've had recently, and their sandwiches are always delectable (although often large enough to send me into a food coma afterwards.) Good coffee, too.

Great stop just before Duncan or on your way south for a snack for the road. The coffee is fantastic and the service is excellent. It's a new place so very clan tidy and bright.

First visit. Nice clean room, friendly staff, food looks great. I went for the roast beef sandwich because it looked insane. On my way out the door I took a bite and quickly realized I was going to have to eat while driving. It was that good. So now I'm trying to eat this massive sandwich while driving when the car next to me starts honking. The man inside gestures for me to roll down my window, leans over and says, "where did you get that sandwich? It looks incredible!". The car behind him starts honking. "Hanks! It.is incredible!". The car behind me starts honking. We laugh and drive off. So yeah, if you want to get a sandwich that is so good it can cause a minor traffic incident, I highly recommend this place.

Lovely place with delicious baking of all kinds. We had sandwiches (excellent) and a twice baked croissant ... I can't wait to try more of the many types of bread. Seating is limited to less than 10 stools.

Had lunch and coffee there. Really tasty sandwich and an excellent twice baked croissant with real almond filling (not marzipan!)

We came up from Victoria as we've heard good things, and we were not disappointed! We ordered 6 baked goods and a chai to share. Everything was 5 star quality and taste. Staff friendly. Facility very clean. Service fast. Definitely worth the trip and we will be back for

Closed but didn’t update hours on Google maps. Have tried before and sweet baking was tasty. Didn’t try the sandwiches as they were pricey for pre-made, which is to say, a comparable price to some other places these days.
