Great little restaurant downtown Duncan. Food is unique and delicious. Unfortunately they are closing for good next Saturday. Lack of kitchen staff. ?

I've never heard of a business that only does take out when their restaurant is not full. How disappointing.

We’ve always had amazing meals and service at The Ainslie!

Intrigued by the listed ingredients, we chose 2 different burgers with the intention of sharing. My "Wooly Pig Burger" was tasty but the combination of elements made it very salty so I was only able to eat 1/2 and did not want to give it to my Mom who has high blood pressure. (I wonder if the chef has eaten a whole one.) My Mom's "Beef Bacon Burger" was also tasty with the variety of toppings, but the patty on it's own was dense and dry. For $17 without any sides, we found it pricey. Our server was pleasant but didn't ask how we enjoyed our meal, even though she saw that we only ate 1/2.

Both mine and my wife's order were too salty. Other than that the finish of plates were pretty and they could use a little bigger portion would be nicer.

Plats délicieux (belle mise en valeur des produits locaux) et abordables, belle ambiance dans le patio et personnel très sympathique : super soirée.

Nice in the courtyard. Lots of umbrellas and shady sections. Pretty hip menu. Looking forward to my lunch!

The Sundried Tomato Gnocchi is in the top 3 meals I have ever had, if not in the top position!

Nice spacing of tables, local food and wines. Donut bites with browned butter sauce and salted caramel were a great dessert to finish off with.

The food at the Ainslie is amazing. So fresh and such bright flavours! I love that the menu changes so every time we go we get to try something new. And they keep some of their star items - like the pork belly tacos that are to die for. The cocktails are also so good!

The Bennies where amazing! Hollandaise sauce was to die for and the ketchup was even made from scratch! The flavours that come from this kitchen are like heaven! Service was great too! Highly recommend!!

We had lunch out on the patio. The table we had was well away from all the other tables and the entrance. So that allowed us to feel quite safe as things are opening up a bit. Plus is was a quiet area. The serving staff were excellent. Our waitress seemed to know just when to come by the table. And, when she went off shift, it was a seamless transition to the other waitress. The food was excellent as well
