Kamloops has so many amazing locally owned/operated breweries. Go ANYWHERE else, or just stay home. Alchemy Brewing gets zero stars from me. Bad service, bad smell, bad food. Incentivizing 5 star reviews is against Google's policy, and is unethical. The way the owner responds to 1 star reviews is extremely disrespectful and frankly, embarrassing. A bit of professionalism and maturity would go a long way.

In the running for the worst pizza I've ever had. I was very hungry and actually preferred to just stay hungry. I question if they had ever put the pizza in their own mouth before testing it in mine.I feel used.Service was fine, atmosphere seemed ok, I was only a take out.Would not recommend this place in the slightest.Dietary restrictions: Please dont suggest that you have vegan options, that pizza was not an option for those with functioning taste buds.

We were very disappointed to see many items blacked out on the menu. When we went to order our beer both our choices were unavailable. Our waitress did not come back for a second order of beer after our appies were ordered. I had to go to the bar to get takeout containers and our bill. On top of this, I very quickly noticed how filthy the floors were. They obviously had not been swept recently. We visited around 1:00 pm. I was not comfortable seeing the dirt piled on the floors or the discarded pop bottle in a garden in the patio area. Our service was terrible and the restaurant felt neglected. We were sorely disappointed. There were very few people in the restaurant, poor service couldn’t even be attributed to being busy.

You have to try the smoked wings and cheesecake specials!! Servers are great, food is delicious, and play a few games (pool/pinball) while your waiting!! Darryl is an amazing Chef, make sure to say hi!!
A few weeks ago I decided to give this local restaurant a try, food was good, took a long time but tasted great. My server (small blonde girl with blue eyes) on the other hand decided to disappear for 20 mins when I went to the bathroom after another server helped us and got us refills I found our server outside making out with her boyfriend? And then the owner came in and they decided to sit together and enjoy some food while the other servers rushed around taking care of the tables, not professional. The owner also talks to her workers like they’re stupid or something, what a shame cause I would’ve given it a try since the food was good. The lawsuit makes sense now.

The food and beers are excellent, but the service here is often poor. I almost always have to wave over a server to order just about anything, it is shockingly frustrating. It is a massive shame considering how good everything else is, but the service brings it all down for me. Really unfortunate.

I want to say I normally do not write reviews. However, my experience was so negative that I feel like I must let people know.My wife and I went to alchemy about a year or so ago and it was nice there was live music, the gal who served us was very attentive. We waited quite a while for our pizza but it was very tasty. We had cider, as we both love cider and it was good too. However, a few months ago we went in and had a terrible experience. The staff was friendly at first but never came to check on us again once we got our food. We tried to flag someone down a few times and no one came over. Our pizza was not good this time around. It was a bit over cooked, and again, we could not flag any staff to have corrected. I thought, maybe it was just an off night. The bill came and we had to go to the front to pay for it. Not the worst night but we left feeling unsatisfied.We tried again a few weeks ago, hoping we just caught them on a bad night, and it was pretty similar. The staff seems inattentive. I'm not sure if it's because we are an older couple or what? But I do not think I will return to this establishment. Sorry.The cider is indeed delicious.
