No dine in so no lunch buffet so I wont order online because you get stuck with small portions and expensive items. I used to love to eat in there.

Terrible food. My family and I ordered take out two months ago and it was great, enjoyed every dish we got. This time was terrible the sweet and sour pork and chicken chow mien tasted a little off. This morning we both feel queasy and the thought of the leftovers makes us sick. Of course they're closed Sunday so we can't ask for a refund, this was not worth 40$. Do not order food from here, quality has really gone down.Edit - When returning the food for a refund I saw people in the kitchen with no masks on. If I saw that when I had picked up my order I would have just left, during a pandemic they can't even mask up.

We loved the food a few months ago when we had it. Got it last night and the food tasted off. The sweet and sour pork and chicken chow mien was bad. The only one of the three dishes that was good was the breaded almond chicken. Was so disappointed as they have always been are go to for Chinese food. Will not be ordering take out again, don't recommend anyone eat here until the quality returns.

tl;dr - I recommend Moon Wok for take out until they open the seating portion of restaurant to see if things get better. I ate here 3x, twice last year where I had the best dry garlic pork and great service and great portions. Then there was today. Great chicken chow mein, used real chicken, not the canned chicken. The SS pork and almond chicken were both over cooked and the oil tasted very old. The take out came with a fortune cookie, no soy sauce, napkins, nothing else. Until Covid is over, i am not going anywhere else except Moon Wok and maybe if things open up again might try this one again in the fall to see how things progressed here.

Tonight we order a large meal for my mother’s birthday and was quoted 50 minutes for deliveryIt was almost 2 hours that we waited. I called her at the hour and a half mark and then ten minutes later and finally at ten minutes to the 2 hour mark my husband called and she was super rude when we asked if we could get a discount when it arrived as we were now starving.. she said “No we don’t do that” and then hung up on himSo we left and went to Mary Browns Sorry mom but we needed something quick! She was happy in the end Never ever again!!! On top ofIt the poor delivery guy offered to give it to us for free but we said sorry we’ve already left the house,

So I live In Alberta and trying to get dinner delivered to my elderly mother in Kamloops for Mothers day. Whenever we are in town we always come as a group for dinner but today they wont take a credit card over the phone. Seriously, you cant open and you are putting barriers in front of regular customers trying to support you? If your that paranoid there are plenty of methods out there that you can use to secure your payment over the phone. No worries, I called the Shanghai Mandarin Restaurant and they got it done in 5 minutes. Guess which restaurant we will be supporting in the future?
Best Chinese food anywhere. I moved to Calgary and wont even bother to buy Chinese food there, I wait until I come to Kamloops to visit, nothing compares to this food
