I'm only giving the food 3 stars because we had to send ours back as they weren't prepared the way we ordered it. The 2nd time they came out significantly better.We had the chicken club (remove shallots and tomato jam) 1st order still had the jam and the basic Benny poached soft (arrived medium, without Chives and paprika) this is exactly what they menu says.. basic so when it was missing ingredients it wasn't very flavourful. The 2nd time it came out the eggs were cooked perfectly I could see the kitchen added the Chives, but I'll be honest I still didn't see paprika. Also my fault I thought it came with ham like a traditional Eggs Benedict, but it was eggs on bread with Hollandaise, when we sent it back I asked if they could add pastrami, when it arrived it did not have it. I didn't complain again as I wanted to eat my food.The cappuccino was lovely I ordered 2.The staff are very friendly and nice, the pricing looks appropriate for the food quality and portion, and the atmosphere is lovely. Even with some hiccups I'd still come back.

Red Beard had a great atmosphere, nice staff, great beer, and incredible meals. I had the goulash and I felt like I was in Europe. Prices are reasonable for such thoughtful dishes. I loved it here and can't wait to try everything on the menu.It's been a long time since I was impressed by a restaurant in Canada. This place is special for sure
