Service was great. When I ordered a drink I waited a minute or 2 before it was delivered. The bartender was full of stories and jokes. Definitely knows how to keep a conversation going. It was a great time being there and relaxing after a long few days of work.

Great food. Great prices. Always empty. Horrendous bar staff currently. She's extremely rude and lacks professionalism.I was staying at the hotel for 6 weeks while attending a training program.My first interaction was her pushing us out the door when we arrived half an hour before closing so she could go buy a pack of smokes nearby. Another evening, she stated she wanted to close early as they were having a slow evening. Every night is a slow night there. I ordered a drink that she messed up on but still had to pay for it. On numerous occasions, she would complain about her position being a minimum wage pay rate. She would complain about Dennys staff. I noticed some chicken wings on the floor by the bar and mentioned it to her. They were there 2 days later when I came back. I refuse to tip her when paying. I like the food so I keep coming back.
Sat down and waited for 10 minutes before leaving as no waiter came. They did acknowledge the only other table there in that time, though.

I ordered from Bar one through skip. This Is my honest review of my food and it’s presentation. When I placed my order I bought two items, a poutine and salt and pepper wings. One thing this restaurant does well is that it is open for food delivery late and as someone who gets home at midnight some nights it’s nice to know I can order food from here. I possibly will try more for future nights I get drunk or high. Now as for the food. Upon delivery the presentation is circular salad style takeout containers. The size fit the wings, but the poutine felt as if it was only half full the pub did something well with separating the gravy from the curds and fries so they don’t get soggy. However I feel there could be a larger serving for what I payed, and there could be more gravy. The poutine was good though, there was a decent ratio of gravy to cheese and the fries where delicious and perfectly salty. I’d give this dish a 5.5/10. As for the chicken wings. There was a decent amount for the Price. I got salt and pepper but the lack of dip was a little disappointing. The wings themselves were decent. I’d give them a 7/10. They were fully cooked, and seasoned well. I wouldn’t mind a little more breading and a few the bones were shattered and they were hard to eat, as the bone shards where sharp and uncomfortable to eat. It’s clear that this restaurant uses a brand of frozen wings and either baked or fried. I would suggest switching brands to something a slightly higher quality. It would make the wings a lot better.Overall my experience wasn’t terrible. I’d rate it 6.5/10. Just wish I got more with the poutine. The food tastes good, but over all there is room for major improvements.

We were staying in the hotel here and I came down with a cup to ask for a cup of soda water, and the bartender wouldn't do it unless I paid 3.50 plus tax because "it's the same as pop, it's not free". I've worked in hotel bars and would never in a million years not give a guest a small cup of soda water, basically free product. Imagine being so concerned with an almost intangible amount of c02 that you're going to send a guest away embarrassed because you just lectured him in front of other patrons. I get that I was asking a small favour. Almost.. The smallest favour imagineable. And I'm a hotel guest, and it's a hotel bar. But yeah just couldn't do it. I do understand that if you say yes to one guest who has their own cup and asks super politely for a small amount of soda water, then you're going to have to do it for ALL GUESTS, which will now open the floodgates to all the other 2 or maybe 1 guests per year who also ask politely for a soda water. And now this hotel bar is flying through c02 and can't figure out where the product is all going and there's investigations and staff are being fired and etc etc. Anyway good for you, you saved your boss zero dollars and we decided to go spend our 70 or whatever bucks on dinner somewhere else that night because as if we are spending it somewhere that can't spare a two second press of soda for a hotel guest.

Order to go and a visit inside.Order to go was less than desired, burger was dry, not much flavour, lacking anything great, the side ceasar salad was , well a ceasar salad a poor one, had a big hunk of the heal? Of the roman lettuce heart. The burger waa lacking much in the was of condiments, I've made better burgers at home.The second visit in the restaurant, the server was great attentive, friendly made sure everything was dine that should could do.The fish tacos, were good, not great but, I also had no idea the food is cooked in Dennys till I put 2 and 2 together.
