I love the boba tea here it has a perfect balance of flavor and boba. The service is good but only once has it been hard for me to order cause the person behind the counter couldn't hear me good. but it wasn't the person's fault as it was the pandemic and we had to wear masks.The atmosphere is amazing from the artwork on the walls to the chairs and other decor and the free WiFi makes this place the perfect place to study for an upcoming project at school

Today I went to Formosa with my friends. One of my friend and I got drinks and sat to wait for our other friends. When they arrived we were chatting for just a little bit when the owner came up to us and almost yelled at us with a serious face that their rule (on the table) clearly states we need to get a drink in order to stay. Two people in our group are already supporting his business by buying drinks and tipping him so much. It's just petty that he would publicly confront us like this and not even make the effort to convey himself politely. My friends then went up to the counter to buy drinks. He wanted a coffee which was on the menu. The owner flat out denied that it's a part of their menu. They then proceeded to not call our number and after 20 minutes and we had to go up to the counter to ask for it. We are beyond disappointed at our experience, and even though the drinks are decent we will not be back here again, nor will we recommend Formosa to any of our friends.update: when we left that day the guy said “thanks Max for the comment” after seeing his review, and told my other friend to not invite any friends here that won’t follow the rules. To be honest he really ruined that evening for us..

A place to hang that probably doesn't get the attention it deserves. Lots of seating, warm lighting, quiet atmosphere. I would hangout here more if I lived this way.I ordered a personalised bubble tea not on the menu without any issues and that was appreciated.The order took less than 10 minutes but it is a bit long for a cafe thankfully I'm not rushed. Hopefully if they get more business they can hire someone else part time to relieve this.Good luck and will be back ??

a drinkable boba tea is above $10, these prices are extreme for a Kelowna business as the best shops in the world are not even that pricyedit 1.It is very scary for you to assume who I am. I don't feel safe to go back there next time. I have been all over Asia and Canada, the drinks that you serve were not the finest, you could always improve your prices as well as your drinks. Your profit margins are a lot more than shops in places such as Vancouver, where the rent and cost of operating a business is a lot more than Kelowna on Harvey. You had a total of 2 games that were able to be played and the tables were barely clean. I see your point of being proud of your business and you should be. But with your food prices being so high, it does not have the quality it needs to be to justify the prices. Your service was slow and with the prices, you have enough margin around 75%-90% to be able to hire more staff. As well as having a better atmosphere besides trying to sell plushies for 40% margins. You should invest in some more games to attract more people to your place of business. And being a place of business, just know that you can improve a lot more and if you take advice from your customers instead of trying to only defend, you will be a lot more successfuledit 2.I find it insane that you do not say anything to your 5 star reviews and would like to just appeal and argue your 'bad' reviews.

With their prices, they opened another shop. This place does NOT have authentic bubble tea and it is a waste for you to go. The owner is also really rude and entitled, if he wasn't the owner, they really change their attitude because it is scaring customers away. They are diving away people and does not care about repercussions, being passive aggressive and holding the order.

I recently visited a bubble tea shop and had an unpleasant experience. The owner was quite rude, insisting that we had to buy drinks if we wanted to stay. However, when we tried to order coffee, which was listed on their menu, the owner refused to sell it to us. This inconsistency and the unwelcoming attitude really dampened our experience. It was disappointing, especially since we were looking forward to enjoying our time there. Sadly, I wouldn't recommend this shop due to the poor customer service.

One of my favourite places to be! Ever since I started to come here I felt so welcome, and absolutely fell in love with the drinks and food I have had! Staff is so wonderful all the ladies are so kind and Andy is so enthusiastic I appreciate every single person! There are lots of choices, also have many desserts (cheesecakes etc) and many tables to relax with people and even play games! I would recommend this place to anyone definitely somewhere you need to check out at least once! Warning though you’ll become addicted!
I always love coming to Formosa! It is some of the best bubble tea in Kelowna and the staff are always friendly. A huge plus is that they have a ton of space inside where you can sit and the hours are great! It is almost impossible to find a cafe open till 8pm in Kelowna. I love to get some tea and read after work.
