When we were eating our meal the smell of cooking oil filled up the space. It hurt our eyes, gave us headaches, and we left with our clothes smelling like we were working in the kitchen. The space was also very warm. This space needs better ventilation.

If you are looking for nachos that are loaded with fresh, delicious ingredients look no further. Hands down the best nachos we've ever had, and the margaritas ?, the combo made our day. Great ingredients, great team, great value, great vibe. Dancing in my seat to the tunes and because the food was too good not to. Will definitely be back.

The star of the evening was undoubtedly Chef Owner Juan Carlos Hernandez, who served us the most delectable dishes. The chicken enchiladas were bursting with flavor, and the beef burrito was a mouthwatering delight. Every bite was a taste of Mexico right here in Kelowna.
But it wasn't just the food that wowed us. The ambiance was equally outstanding. The music playing in the background transported us to the heart of Mexico, enhancing the overall dining experience. It was as if we had embarked on a culinary journey to another world.

Went here with parents and had a delicious appetizer of Ceviche and a main of Tuna Carnitas Tacos .. DELICIOUS.Our server was quick to take our order of drinks and appetizers and came out quickly for our mains.Cute and compact restaurant but with plenty of charm. We even received a complimentary dessert of Vanilla Flan.Highly recommended for sit down or take out. Coming back for sure.

We did take home, the food was good but the tiny rice and dip was disappointing and dried up. The lettuce was not fresh, rather bagged and not rinsed, smelled and tasted of chemicals . Not the quality of the main restaurant.

I’ve probably eaten hundreds of quesadillas from dozens of restaurants in my lifetime, but the best one I’ve ever had was here at Hector’s this evening.The quality of the ingredients, and perhaps the care taken to put it all together are what sets in apart. The shell is soft and homemade, the cheese is real, and the ingredients are just blended perfectly.I was curious to see what was inside but I gobbled it down too quickly. LolHector has created something special and I’m so glad I discovered it.

The service leaves a lot to be desired, I don't know where the warmth that characterizes Mexicans ended up, I expected much more and the food lacked any flavor, they didn't offer hot sauces. I hope they improve this for their business to prosper as it has a lot of potential.
