The food here was amazing! the menu changes every day but I had the salmon option and I have never tasted anything like it! I did not get the wine pairing with it as I just wanted to enjoy a nice vodka soda before we headed to more wineries. The atmosphere almost made you feel like you were in an exclusive club! Our server (who's name I have forgotten) was very friendly, she gave us some good options for things to do in Kelowna! I look forward to heading back some day!

The chef prepared 5 course menu paired with Cedar Creek wines, was exceptional. Carly was our wonderful server. She paced each course perfectly and has a super outgoing personality. It is always such a pleasure to dine at Homeblock

We celebrated my wife's birthday at Homeblock yesterday and we're so glad we did. Karli was so absolutely fantastic and generous to us. The food and wine pairings were unbelievable. We'll definitely be back to our favorite Okanagan restaurant very soon.

This place without a doubt has the best food I have ever had in BC. They offer happy hour menu if you don’t want to have their 3 course meal (which is a requirement for dinner reservation) but if there is a one time in your life where you want to splurge or ditch your diet, this is the place to do so.Kid-friendliness: It’s Canada, I’m sure no one will complain about your child but best to have them sit this one out given that it’s located in a winery and offers fine dining.

The food at Home Block is consistently excellent. Well prepared, well presented, delicious and fresh. The variety of dishes within an italian framework is highly appealing. We've eaten here many times now and are never disappointed. If I were to make any comment for improvement, I would add that the courses with pairings menu format is not always appealing, perhaps even outdated. Yes, one can order a la carte (although nothing is priced) and leave out the pairings but I do think this amazing food would win a greater scope of customers if the menu were constructed as individually priced dishes. Pairings can always be suggested. Sometimes you just want to order a whole bunch of first courses and share!

Went for a lunch today with a very limited complicated menu with several off menu items being suggested for the dine around special $45 2 course or $65 with two choices of wine pairings. The open atmosphere was noisy, although the view of the lake was very appealing. I was displeased with the lack of liquid soap in the co'ed washroom and the one ply t-p. The hostess was happy to take my coat but completely forgot to return my coat after we signed our bill, no idea where to find it or locate staff who were not in the entry area when we departed. There were items not on the menu (recommend a current menu) and with the complicated names of the Okanagan 2 course dining promotion, both of us were not satisfied with the dishes served. The view is still beautiful but with an open cooking area and tall ceilings and little for noise absorption..it resembled a cafeteria sound.Dietary restrictions: potatoes were in dishes you would not expect..like the fish cake trout which was not on the menuParking: it's a steep paved hill up from the main parking lot. There is a higher parking lot which was full but how would one know prior to driving up..turning around tightly and heading back down... Signs would be so helpful at the entry area.

They offered us the private wine room at the back of the dining area for our party, it was so intimate and perfect for 6 best friends to laugh and enjoy the amazing 3-course meal we had, thanks for making it the best night out

This is not the first time we come and have a disappointing meal. Something less is more, the creations of plates don't make any sense, the flavours just don't go along together and I love a fine dining at mission hill and quails gate, but these combinations are just always so off. The pasta had no flavour, it's like it wasn't even seasoned and the smell was so weird that made me not want to eat the food at all. Very disappointing for a Valentine's lunch. I would have paid more if that meant having food that tasted good. (The fish was nice and well put together) everything else was just a no.

It was excellent, Valentine's Day lunch with my wife. Our waitress was excellent, very friendly. Five star review for her. Food is amazing. I had one of the best cappuccinos with my dessert.

All the food was delicious! Creative dishes, everything fit together so well. The staff were super friendly and helpful. We had a wonderful early Valentine's Day dinner. I would definitely recommend coming here for special events!

Home Block is one of Kelowna's BEST restaurants. I recommend without hesitation! The vibe is casual but refined, service is super friendly and down to earth, but attentive and skilled. They advertise as casual, and the servers do dress casually as do most of the guests, but it feels special. Dress up if you want! The food is lovely. I had the dine around menu. Everything was delicious, great balance of flavours, acidity, sweetness, depth. Just damn good. The toffee pudding cake was dreamy. The view is stunning. We went on a snowy day, and the dove grey sky mirrored by the steel lake, framed by snow touched trees was very pretty. The decor and ambience invites you to linger. I think it's the view, the concrete and windows, high ceilings, but with an old barn vibe with chicken wired around the lights, distressed wide plank walls, rather intimate seating arrangement, that feels cozy even though it seems like it shouldn't be cozy. :) Any way. Love it.

Home Block at CedarCreek Estate Winery knocks it out of the park every time. The chef is unquestionably the most talented chef around and knows how to pair the outstanding food they make with the array of delicious local wines. The service is always so professional and welcoming and paired with the ambiance you're in for a relaxing but enjoyable time. The whole dining experience is perfection!

Not as good as it used to be. Food was somewhat greasy and way too seasoned. Beef was tough and we had to reoder meat. Excellent service! A little pricey....2 2 course lunch parings and 2 4 oz sparkling came to $190 before tip.
