Great use of the old Pheasant and Quail Pub, they host all sort of music events and the food is delicious! I definitely recommend checking them out! Location is mint right by the beach and away from bumsville.?

I was at runaways lounge tonight and had the best experience - the entertainment was great and the service was exceptional. Both bartenders Fraser and Colin were friendly, personable and efficient, my beer never went empty. I had the pleasure of meeting the servers Rachel, mikayla and Mariah who also were enthusiastic and on point. I highly recommend coming to hang out at this establishment for good eats, good drinks and good vibes :)

The food was extremely overpriced for the quality, and the dessert was no better. On top we were told we were too loud during comedy night which I understand the entertainer needs to be heard but to be told we were too loud was kind of the last straw for me. Never going to this establishment again.

I went for Wednesday wing night and it was very slow with many open tables but my boyfriend and I were getting the little to no service from right walking in. It took 15+ minutes to get anything on out table and while we were ordering drinks our waitress was not very friendly or helpful- I asked for suggestions and she just put me down for not knowing what I want. And then when I wanted another drink I had to go find the server because she had not checked in from when we got our wings till 10 minutes after and while we were having bad service another table across the way had to grab there own menus and order there drinks from the bar. With our server having 2 tables I thought it was almost unbelievable. I’m sure they have better staff just bad experience that night.

With I could say better, the band for new year was great, the lights in the seating area in front of the band were non existent, get lights and a dimmer switch, food was cut off at 10:00 for a new year Eve bash, makes no sense, ordered wine and took 45 minutes to receive the nine ounce glass of can franc. Band was fantastic, the dancing was great. Service and atmosphere needs improvement! Still had a great time!

Went here for the drag night.. we had a blast. Not the greatest spot for the performance, almost needs to be on a stage higher up. Overall , drink specials were great and very happy polite employees there. My friend has a wheelchair and was very easily accessible to get around which is always a bonus.

First time trying out the vegan options at Runaways. I had the hummus and pita and the impossible burger with fries. For the burger to be vegan you need to sub the GF bun which was tasty. The fries, pita and hummus were a 10/10. My only issue: a common misconception about impossible and beyond meat is that it needs to be cooked like regular meat. However cooking all the pink out of the impossible patty makes it over cooked. It's designed to be cooked to "medium" like the burgers are in the states. So, my burger was a bit dry and burnt tasting. Also, since the mayo is being left off the burger I would have liked some other substitute added, such as ketchup (I added some myself). Otherwise a great meal! Always happy to have vegan options.

The appies were amazing and generous. The chips and dip were the crunchiest ever. Top quality pub food. Merge9 provided excellent cover tunes and an energetic show. Overall a great evening.

Haven’t been here since it was pheasant and quail. Won’t be coming back. First off. Freezing cold in here. Every single person has their jacket on including the staff. Had a lunch special grilled cheese tomato soup. Soup was microwaved and the grilled cheese tasted like Kraft singles…. I expected more from this place. I would be too cold and scared to come back knowing the standards held here. I get the local alcoholic vibe in here.

This place recently changed hands (and names) but it's still pretty similar in concept, which isn't a bad thing. They've got a decent selection of craft beer, domestic and import options as well, and several cocktails on the drink menu that are well made, and taste good. The food is great and the menu has plenty of options but not so many that the quality suffers. They also regularly offer live music, which is not all that common around here these days and is very welcome for a music fan.

Our first time there, and I wouldn't go back. The food was expensive for pub food and wasn't very good. Our server was in another world, forgetting everything, including the price for the daily specials. Not to mention it was SO cold in there! The saving grace was the Punk Rock Bingo! That was a lot of fun and engaging!

Probably the worst service I've ever gotten. The bartender was super rude so I didn't tip him and word must have gotten out quick, cause every server in the building couldn't be bothered to ask our 5 top if we wanted something to drink or not. Keep in mind.. I tip If it's deserved. It just takes a tiniest bit of kindness. That stuff shouldn't be expected when you're ignorant.

10/10 recommend!!Great service, cozy atmosphere, and great food and drinks! Everything is homemade, chicken tenders were delicious. Fries are great, fish and chips were awesome! We will be back! ??

This place is such a gem! I recently discovered it and typically don't go to pub type places to eat because the food is all the same frozen deep fried junk. HOWEVER, this place makes all of their food in house and the service is phenomenal! I was even surprised they hand bread their own chicken tenders! Great food, prices and quality! ? I've been back a few times now and is my go to place in the lower mission now.
