So impressed with our dinner tonight! I never post reviews and I'm not even finished my plate yet, but I absolutely had to share our experience. Fresh, perfectly cooked, crispy, flavorful, incredible food. I should add that we chose delivery, and even then, our order was delivered quickly and tasted like it just came out of the kitchen. Well, well done, New Empress. I'd give you 10 stars if I could!

Hands down the best Chinese food in the Okanagan. It took us trying every other Chinese food restaurant around before we found this one. And it immediately tasted like home. Customer service is outstanding, portions are generous and food has always been hot and fresh.

This restaurant has the best Chinese food I have had in Kelowna! I have always been extremely impressed with their portion sizes for what you pay and the food is always excellent. I have never been unimpressed with what we receive and will continue going back!

I have given this Chinese food 4 times now. Don't know what I was thinking, giving it another try. But this is the worst Chinese food I have ever eaten. Nothing is done fresh. The wonton soup was a tasteless soggy mess, and I don't know how old the rice was. I think no one orders from here enough to make them cook fresh, so stuff just sits there getting old until they can refry it. They should be ashamed of themselves for putting that kind of food out.
Food is delicious! The War Wonton is worth the visit itself! The location is central. and the quantity of food provided in the take out containers is always mega.full!!! Love it

Horrible!! Cold, mushy, overpriced and sent wrong items and would not refund!! Do not recommend, my stomach now hurts after eating the somewhat edible parts of my order!! DO NOT RECOMMEND!!!

Definitely the worst Chinese food we have had. Ordered ginger chicken which was SO spicy it burned our lips and throat - just couldn't eat it. The chicken foo young was over cooked and dry. Rice was mushy. basically a terrible experience should have just thrown $70.00 in the trash.

The food was absolutely saturated in sauce and everything was soggy and almost inedible. Definitely won’t be eating their again. Best part was the fortune cookie as it was dry and crunchy. Very disappointed.
