A good experience, they package your food in a newspaper with tape, when you break the packaging to eat your fish and chips it takes you back to the past when with the emotion of a child we did that with a feeling of surprise, I don't think I ever thought I would feel that emotion again so which I thank.

Incredible local gem. I live close by and have been saying that I want to go there for ages. I finally remembered and gave it a go. I’m very glad I did. I got the 2pcs halibut and chips and it was exactly like what I used to get in the UK.

I tried this place again ,, I ordered three piece cod and chips. $ 26.00 ,, the first thing that happens when you try to use your card is the device shows you where to add the tip.THE TIP !! ,,,, for what ?? ,, oh you have your choice, by dollar amount or percentage. Oh if that's not your choice there is a nice little cup in front of you marked TIPS.The fish and chips were simply disgusting ,, laden with awful tasting grease. That's certainly is the last and final time I will ever patronage this sad excuse for a fish and chip shop.Parking: street parking if you can find a spot ,, and as far as " dishes do you recommend " I would recommend absolutely nothing ,,

I have lived in Kelowna for over 40 years and never have been here. It was everything we had heard about. The fish was awesome loved it being wrapped in daily courier news paper! We didn't mind waiting knowing the best fish and chips is fresh fish and chips. It was busy people picking up pre-orders and walk ins I can't wait to go in the summer and sit outside. The news clippings on the wall were an added touch on the history of this place. So glad we finally went !

Best Fish and Chips in Kelowna ! Always fresh , Every time is as good as the last ! Big portions ! I always get 2 piece Cod n Chips and 3 Battered Prawns and a small Coleslaw ! I can never finish it all in 1 day ! Prices are good and a bit Cheaper than the going rate ! cheaper compared to other places !The only thing I would change if I was the Owner is Renovate the Building a bit ! freshen it up a bit , new roof , new siding , make it a bit more modern while still keeping that old Vibe that we all love ! I know space is limited on your property but perhaps you could add another level / storey on that building as you need more room , not many places to sit to eat , sometimes when you pick up food there is no place to stand cause people are in the way ! sometimes the line up goes out doors , so I would contact the city and ask about your zoning and building rules in order to expand the business ! or even a 2nd location ! you know Kelowna will support you ! :) Cheers

Famous place in Kelowna, they are around since almost forever. It looks kind of run down, but this could be part of the experience, old style. I love, that they actually still use newspapers to wrap up.The service was really good, very friendly, but the food itself was a disappointment. The batter was extremely fatty and had no taste at all. My cod did not have any taste as well. The halibut had a little bit of taste, when you peeled it out of the batter.The fries and the coleslaw were good.So no point for the fish, but 1 point each for fries and coleslaw.
