I was waiting for my drink when I witnessed a situation between who I’m assuming is a manager, some workers, and a customer. One barista asked a customer if they’d like a free beverage since she had made it by mistake and the customer took it and kept ordering. A woman behind the counter then had a conversation with the barista who gave away the drink and the barista told the customer that she had to pay for it; apologetically though. That was just ridiculous, Starbucks gives away free drinks to so many people everyday and I almost jumped in to pay for this customers drink for her that she didn’t even order and was given for free as a nice gesture! The rest of the staff were friendly and nice enough and my drink was good, I probably just won’t come back to this location because of the poor customer service.

Service was fast. Clerk was super friendly don’t know how they keep their smile on all day. Order was correct and timely in a high traffic store. This store connects to Indigo. There is no in-store seating available unless you’re heading to Indigo to read a book. They have permanently closed the bathrooms for “safety reasons”. Alternate bathrooms are located across Mall hallway to the right of Shoppers Drug Mart. Free parking in the mall outdoor parking lot.Kid-friendliness: I buy hot chocolate for my son with whip cream. Kid temperature.Wheelchair accessibility: Available.

I work in the mall and am tempted to DoorDash from a different location. If they don’t mess up my order, it takes twice the estimate, or they just decide my name is too hard and don’t call it so it sits there getting cold until I go up to ask because it’s been as usual a 20 full minutes like today and last week - even when it’s slower in the mall… actually the worst Starbucks in Kelowna! The only reason they have gotten so many chances from me is because I work in the mall ? looks like I’ll have to wait for another big staff turnover before I try again!
