Me and my husband go to this place on Fridays for lunch, it is always good, we enjoy the lunch special, the lady that provides the service is always cheerful and great, and the food is authentic, delicious and made with care, I love their ramen, the broth is delicious , and their fried tofu. Every time we go, we try different flavours of Soju to share, and last time we 3 (husband, server and me) said “kanpai” at the same time and it was hilarious. Love the ambience, parking could be difficult, and I hope construction right across the street wraps up, because it could be a deterrent for its location. Recommend!

However, the service fell a bit short; our waiter seemed unfamiliar with certain items on the drinks menu, which made them unable to recommend a tea option. Staff were friendly and welcoming but food was a little disappointing, received a medium container of sushi that was half full (1 roll was 5 pieces for roughly $13) it could’ve been boxed in a much smaller container, squid to batter ratio was also disappointing for the spicy squid, the rest of the food was decent but small portions for big prices. I understand the prices with inflation have risen but this felt excessive for the quantity given. I definitely recommend it for a dine in experience due to the staff and atmosphere as it makes up for the pricing, just not take out.

First and last time. Got the tiniest portion of chicken karaage (6 tiny nugget sized pieces for $13!!) and the tiniest portion of ramen I've ever seen. I am still so hungry I have to order something else now. Thanks T-One!
