My husband and I go to the keg often and it is always hit and miss unfortunately.Last nites meal was awesome just wish things were constistant all the time for us 1 out of every three times its great.

We had a great meal with great service. Food was excellent! The only issue we had was the size of the table. They have many round tables that aren't really conducive to having 4 people seated. Not enough room for drinks and food. Had to ask to have items removed to make room. Otherwise, a great evening.

I I ordered the fillet mignon and it wasn't really what I expected or what it should be my wife ordered the black and chicken, which was fantastic. The scallops were perfect. The service was fantastic. The steak was substandard.

Food was excellent with the exception of the lobster tail which was not really fresh but had a price equivalent to a just caught tail. Otherwise an excellent evening and no better deal for a great steak and all the trimmings.

Excellent Classic centre cut steak served with sautéed mushrooms, seasonal vegetables w/ choice of salad and accompaniment. Our server, John was great. We had a thoroughly wonderful dinner.

Generally I enjoy the Keg however this experience left me wanting. Raw in the middle bun..a waitress who almost rolled their eyes about it. And another server came by with a "well done bun" Prime rib was not terribly tender. Overall the meal was edible however for a meal that for four of us was over 350 it was not great

Our service and meal was one of the best experiences we have had. We have been dining at the Keg for 40+ years and this one will stand out as one our favourites. Hats off to the chefs and the staff. Our service was outstanding! Thank you!

I came in for dinner on Friday night with my husband and we were so impressed with Nick! His knowledge of the menu and prime rib was astounding. He able to answer all the questions my husband had and help him choose an amazing meal that he truly enjoy. We will definitely be coming back for Nick and prime rib again!!!

I went there for my wedding anniversary but I completely ruined. I asked for the medium but the stake was almost raw , so I asked for the other one , but it was more severe than the first one. It was cold and raw too. While tasting two stakes, it was really disgusting to me that I feel like eating raw meat , and I lost my appetite. They refunded for that stake, but I wasted my time and ruined my anniversary.

Our initial order of Bellini was a tasteless, watered down serving of mostly melted ice— it was returned. Our main course was undercooked blackened chicken with a strip of skin whose underside was practically raw! It was served with broccoli and beet that appeared to be flung onto the plate from a distance. The manager came to the table after we expressed to our server that the meal was “okay” this because my company did not want to complain. He expressed not knowing what to say after we shared our disappointment and did little to nothing to ameliorate the tragedy. To top it off, the host was scraping gum from the underside of the table next to us while we ate. Thanks, Keg! Today we’re up with a terrible bellyache. It’ll be a memorable birthday celebration .

We arrived on time and we're seated right away. Adam our waiter was great. I was surprised no name tags for staff and had to ask what his name was. We had stuffed Shrooms and baked cauliflower, both were great. Main dinner was steak with shrimp and crab with bernaise sauce, steak a little too rare for medium and a little tough. We had a lobster to share on the side which was awesome and keg size drinks which were great too. We asked for doggie bag for our steaks and veggies as we were too full and knew it would be great snack later. It was full in our section first half hour and it was hard to hear ourselves talk, noise seems to reverberate around you in the booths. Overall it was great!

The waiter Rielly was so kind. He helped me pair wine with my meal, recommended the side I chose and had great banter with my boyfriend and I. He also provided a delicious birthday dessert and accommodating my partners allergies. Excellent food as well. We will return soon! Was a great birthday experience!

Been going to The Keg & Clever since the 1970's & the opening of the Old Strathcona location in Edmonton! Have watched the disappearance of the salad bar and the menu changes. The seasonal menu additions and the disappearance of my favourite King Crab!! So 50 years of dining at the now call “The Keg”! There have been good meals and great meals eaten at various locations in Alberta and British Columbia. Our recent dining experience was very good! The Keg has become a go to for years and the Staff is what makes us return! Would like to see more changes on the menu and I find the Prime Rib is lacking! Not much flavour! Yes we will be back and besides the food, it is the staff that brings us back! Staff was very attentive and welcoming! See you again soon!!
