I had the pleasure of visiting twodonkeys German bakery in West Kelowna today and all I can say is that it was an absolute delight! As a big fan of traditional German pastries, I had high expectations and this bakery definitely lived up to them, even exceeded them.The smell of the sweet treats upon entering the bakery was simply irresistible. The selection of baked goods was impressively large and you could see that there was a lot of attention to detail. From croissants to delicate pretzels to delicious cakes - everything looked amazing.And the taste! I was lucky enough to try some of the delicacies and they were to die for.In addition to the excellent quality of the baked goods, the service was also excellent. The staff was friendly, helpful and spoke German and always had a smile on their faces. They were willing to answer questions and make recommendations, which I found very pleasant.The atmosphere in the bakery was cozy and inviting. There were small tables where you could enjoy your treats while watching the hustle and bustle. I immediately felt comfortable and could just enjoy the time.All in all, I can thoroughly recommend the German bakery in West Kelowna. If you're looking for authentic, delicious German pastries, you've come to the right place.

Took away a frozen BBQ chicken pizza. Made it two weeks later, and wow, so good. Good light meal for two.
Theeeee best! Croissants made with real butter you can taste! Chocolate croissants taste like Nutella! wonderful amazing stafff and soooo many more yummy options. They are my most favourite place for GF gluten free options as well. Sven and his team will serve you up the best sourdough. Located near airport and new location in west kelowna.

A little off the beaten track but a comprehensive offering of absolutely yummy breads, sweet treats, sandwiches, sausage rolls and even lasagna!!
Tried this place for the first time today and was utterly amazed at all the fresh backed goods. My friend and I got a sandwich and and pretzel and they were both excellent.She even gave us a free cookie each!Super friendly and kind!10/10 will go again

Very disappointing at the location near the airport.Why, because they have little to no product on their shelves within a couple of hours after opening every day.Why, because they have recently opened a location on the west side and all the product is sent or moved to that location daily.Whilst I understand and appreciate that they are trying to figure out what sells on the West side, it is at the expense of its loyal customer base at this location, particularly Quail Ridge. We obviously don't matter anymore despite supporting them since they opened, we served a purpose for a time and now we don't matter! They just simply shrug their shoulders as if to say " tuff luck"!Don't bother driving to this location you are better off calling to see what they do have on the shelves before you go!I love their bread and pastries BUT I am not sure I will go back only to be disappointed again, and again and again.

My first visit to West Kelowna: average if not mediocre.I only had the multigrain croissant (doesn’t deserve that name) and a slice of the far-from-authentic Black Forest roll (bland, not fresh).To be asked for a tip after standing around for five minutes at a counter doesn’t impress me either. I declined.However, given all the good reviews I will try again.
