I ordered a diner for 3 (take out) and that had to be the worst Chinese food ever! Vegetables were mush, chow mein was plain (noodles, sprouts & a few slices of chicken - no sauce), almond chicken (plain no sauce) and sweet & sour (scraps of mystery meat on sticky rice). I don't usually do this, but I thought I should make people aware.

Ordered takeout chinese food from here recently, and it was wonderful. The staff were friendly, and while there is no dine-in due to covid precautions right now, this is a pretty restaurant I'd love to eat at one day! I will definitely be ordering again.

Sweat and sour soup had more sugar in it than a can of Pepsi. Spicy beef satay sauce and fried wontons were smothered in grease. Chow Mein was a meager, portions in general were average. Also no delivery btw. They did not deliver a dish I ordered. Do not recommend.

Extremely Overpriced for Mediocre food! Never in my life have I ever seen such a small amount of food in the dinner for two. Extremely tiny sweet and sour pork portion, maybe 12 small pieces and drowning in sauce. 8 tiny dried up chicken wings and a bland underfilled portion of chow mein. Also includes some soggy wantons. Extremely disappointed in the quality and quantity of the food. First time, and last time, Never go back. I honestly don't understand how this restaurant has four stars. Still hungry, please go out of business for the sake of any new customers.

Best Asian menu in Ladysmith. Awesome food and service! Just love this place. So much to choose from.

Very very good Chinese food, best chicken chow main ever. Their menu is unbelievable, you can eat from every country in the Far East. Very clear inside, , Wigwam has been a Ladysmith restaurant for ever, you don't last that long in small town unless your food excellent

Terrible. The chow mein was burnt around the edges. The container was not full it looked like they took the last of what was in the pan and put it in the container. It was also cold. The sweet & sour pork tasted like leather I have no idea what kind of meat it was? It had bright red sauce over it. It went in the garbage as we could not eat it. I cannot believe we paid thirty dollars for it.We will definely not be going there again.

This is some of the best Chinese Take Out I have had after growing up in Toronto; and living in Montreal, Calgary, and now the Nanaimo Hub as an adult. The owners are very sweet and kind and their restaurant is SPOTLESS CLEAN and super cute.

Absolutely disgusting. Used to be my favorite lunch spot for wor wonton soup. Got it the other night and was repulsive. The soup, all the veggies were mushy, wontons were gross, and they added old fake crab meat to the soup which I have never seen before, giving it a very gross fishy smell. But that's not even the worst part. Ordered spring rolls and it looked like the took whatever is left over on the fryers and rolled it. The "dipping sauce" I'm praying was just vinegar, but kind of smelled and looked like pee.... Won't be back there again. Such a shame this place used to be amazing.

this restaurant is the cleanest place I have ever seen. The food is also very clean and fresh, they trim all the extra fat and it seems like it is made with care the same way one would cook for family. It is not remotely greasy and is consistently top quality. The chop suey veggies are fresh, delicious, and hand cut (not pre-made). Their Pho is great can't wait to try the Vietnamese stiry fry. The family who runs this is so kind and professional. Highly recommend. This is literally the cleanest most pandemic safe establishment I have seen in the past two years. I look forward to the pandemic ending so I can try their buffet and dine in..(only take out for now). Such friendly people.
