“Had the raspberry mocha which was delicious. Would be nice if can offer to warm up pastries prior to serving them... I know I would have enjoyed the cranberry cinnamon loaf a lot more had it been warmed up and not served coldParking: Located in a strip mall with ample parking spacesKid-friendliness: Seats available for infants“
“Been a few times for both breakfast and lunch now, always clean, smells good, great service, canadian classics served with perfect portions at great prices! Can't say enough good things about this little gem ? happy its close to my job ??“
“This is a gem of a place in Walnut Grove. More people need to know about it. Walking in you’re met with a genuine welcome and it’s very quaint and hospitable. The food was amazing and the selection is vast and we can’t wait to go back. I expect we will be regulars.“
“Love this little cafe place!Food is affordable and super delicious. The owners are super friendly and can accomadate any preferences.Usually come for lunch with my cousins and we always get some paninis, soup and the strawberry chocolate crepe!!! (The best).“
“I came here once on a whim on a break from my work nearby. I was blown away by the quality of their coffee and the coziness of their atmosphere. Ever since, this has been my go-to spot for a morning brew before work. Please, give them a try! They never disappoint.“
“Just had the most amazing London fog of my life. The milk was steamed to perfection. The tea brewed perfectly strong. Just added a single pump of vanilla to it and it was perfect! Will be back for sure!I didn’t try the food on this visit but the baked goods looked incredible ?Parking: Many spots but shared with a large business complex.Kid-friendliness: Delicious looking cookies your kids will beg you for!Wheelchair accessibility: Ground level establishment.“
“Breakfast Sandwich is my dream. The description says bacon, but it's more of a brisket. Fine by me!! Pro tip: Ask for maple syrup to drip on the sandwich because it's hugged by two soft, fluffy pancakes. It's not toasted as it says on the menu.... which I really would've loved to try!“
“There was a cafe in Langley with a good reputation run by a Korean, so I stopped by with my friends and I was very satisfied with the food service. The muffins were large and good for sharing, and the sandwiches were not too thick and were just the right size, so they were easy to eat. Above all, the cafe latte was excellent!! I'll have to stop by again next time^^“
“Interesting ambiance, wonderful pastries, very unfortunate drinks. This is the first place I've been to in my life where the coffee taste in a cappuccino may be an "extra charge" if not buying the larger size. It just sounds like a poor excuse given by a very lazy (and unskilled) barista. Good customer service is not their stuff...Following owner's response:I was the managing director of a coffee chain for some years and never thought of a coffee not tasting well because of the size. It's just unacceptable.Poor customer service is saying that a better coffee taste depends on the coffee size which doesn't make sense at all. Remaking the drink is the least a business can do if the product is not up to customers' expectations. It's the business responsibility to make sure that its products are well designed and made right most of the times; not customers'.I get that people can make mistakes (we all do). But trying to convince a customer that you are doing an upgrade on a bad product even if it's "for free" is misleading. If you want me to pay "the upgrade" I will. Do you want me to not screw your score? Fine, I did so already - your croissants are the best in town by far and deserve to be complimented. But I believe you're missing the point. My wife threw her drink right after we left without saying a word, even though the barista nicely offered a new drink. She just didn't like it and preferred to avoid getting into an argument. I believe we all lost in that situation. Many customer remain silent and just don't come back. So, you can choose to listen to your customers or to keep arguing... Happy to provide more insights from my learnings and mistakes as a customer facing manager. Extra "business flavor" is free or charge!“
“Visited for the first time last night. Service was great, ambience felt welcoming and the Oreo cake was 10/10 ! Free parking and convenient parking too. The man at the counter who helped me was very nice, the whole experience was great from start to “
“I definitely would recommend this place. You can tell everything is from scratch . The only thing I would change is the workers except the older lady. Thinking it’s the mom. They are not friendly at all. A little snotty ….. ladies learn to smile and be friendly. That goes a long way.“
“I live in the neighborhood and I have been coming to this cafe for the past few months so it’s time for a review.First of all it’s family owned and operated by a lovely couple Louis & Swanni who do their best running this place. It’s understandable that small businesses tend to have prices higher than what you would normally pay at a chain cafe. That’s simply due to economy of scale. Always support small and local business. The place itself is nicely decorated with a pleasant layout and character. Different seating arrangements whether you’re a solo customer or with a group of friends.Their coffee and other drinks are great. I don’t eat much here but the food looks amazing when they bring it out lol.“
“We recently discovered Trendz Coffee House while looking for breakfast, and it was a wonderful experience. The barista was really friendly, serving us a delicious cappuccino and a tasty breakfast meals. The place has a clean and inviting ambiance. Highly recommended for a great start to your day!“
“The iced coffee caramel macchiato at $5 provides a taste reminiscent of popular offerings found at major coffee chains. Priced similarly to comparable options, it delivers a familiar and satisfying experience. The chocolate chip cupcake, priced at $4, boasts a classic flavor profile typical of its genre, and its substantial density ensures a filling indulgence for patrons. The cherry pie, priced at $5, presents a visually appealing treat that evokes imagery of quaint Disney-esque bakeries. Despite encountering difficulty with the paper around the crust, the pie's interior remained enjoyable. However, given a pre-existing feeling of fullness upon arrival, the cupcake failed to captivate as hoped.Aaron, characterized by his charming mustache twirl, exudes a hospitality reminiscent of cinematic depictions. His efficient service contributes to the establishment's welcoming ambiance.Despite its modest size, the café exudes a charming appeal. However, frequent phone interruptions towards closing hours detract slightly from the overall experience. For café and bakery ratings, this establishment, rated on a integer scale (with 0 representing Tim Hortons), earns a 2, reflecting its favorable impression.Although tempted to depart after settling the bill, the enjoyable service compelled a desire to linger and potentially encounter Aaron's hospitality once more.Aspirations for discovering the quintessential café experience, akin to the enchanting joy found in Disney settings, were almost fulfilled here. However, the quest for the perfect cupcake flavor remains elusive, particularly for someone not inherently drawn to cupcakes.A recommendation to adopt a retro ringtone reminiscent of the 1950s could enhance the café's ambiance and complement its nostalgic charm.Notably, the absence of plate clearance by staff was disappointing, as the anticipated Aaron's service added an element of anticipation to the dining experience.“
“It is such a cute study cafe and super student friendly. Its owned by a wife and husband I believe and they were really nice. I got a creme brulee latte and though it was pretty much like a normal vanilla latte it was still delicious. The lavender lemonade was delicious too and I dont even like lemonade! The food was smaller than expected but the thai chicken sandwhich was delicious and it was served with popcorn which is new! The chicken wrap was okay not the best but overall a hidden gem for sure! Definitely check it out ?️??️“
“neighborhood cafe in Langley. the barista was very nice and courteous friendly and welcoming eventhough busy and we had to wait a bit to order. they good coffee nice vibe with clean open modern decor and not many hipsters. ample underground parking and very accessible for anyone with mobility issues. shall definitely come back as recommended by a local regular customer eating a very appealing sandwich to return for brunch as in his words the food superb and fresh great find which just opened within the year and have consistency with pastries and offerings. my only complaint is Blacksmith Bakery need more iced caffinated drinks caffinated on their menu as summer is just around the corner.“
“Great up and coming cafe! Healthy and tasty options with something for everyone! All of their coffee syrups are made in-house, and it really makes a difference in the flavour of their drinks! The vanilla really pops in their london fogs! The staff are lovely and attentive. They will happily help you or ask any questions you have. They also have merch, such as hoodies and crew neck sweaters for sale, that are great quality!Kid-friendliness: Great kids menu! Multiple options for them!“
