I put the note in my reservation that it was for a birthday, but nothing was mentioned when we arrived; my server gave no impression she was aware it was my husbands birthday. They could have possibly been short-staffed but she hardly ever came by. Other people brought our food out, not her. She asked if we wanted dessert, we said yes, we'd take a look at the dessert menu, and then she proceeded to visit EVERY other table for the next 15 minutes, completely forgetting that she'd offered us dessert. We decided to just have dessert at home, so I put my credit card on the table and it was another 5-10 minutes before I could flag her down. She didn't mention anything about being sorry for getting caught up with other tables, or about forgetting to bring us the dessert menu. I tipped her 10% and later wish I'd tipped her less. I nearly told her to her face what I thought of her service but my husband preferred I not let it escalate. We left and I was disappointed in a restaurant that I had previously been very impressed by.

The food here is usually very good, this time it was just ok. Had the coconut curry rice bowl and the fried chicken sandwich and they weren't too bad but nothing to write home about. The prices are a bit high but overall was a good experience was also nice and quiet which I absolutely love I can't stand too much noise!

After having a reservation The hostess forgot that we were waiting for them to “ clear a table “ . She sat others while we were sitting there waiting and then asked if we had been helped !! Completely forgot about us . The server also Very rarely checked on us . We had to get up and find someone to give up a dessert menu and then the bill . The food and drinks however were on point . Would hesitate to return on a weekend.
I am really sad to say I did not really enjoy my experience here. The staff are kind and accommodating, the decor and ambience is very nice, and the drinks were good so that is a plus. I will say their drink menu is expansive and the cocktails were made well. However, I was not impressed with the food. I do not feel the quality reflects the price, and no one else who was dining with me seemed to enjoy their food that much either. It was not bad by any means, but it did not taste like what you would expect a $30+ meal to taste. Unfortunately, it took nearly an hour for our food to come out, and when it did, it was not very hot or fresh, so maybe that contributed to the issue. The server apologized for the wait (which I appreciated) and I understand that the kitchen was backed up but it still dampened the experience to have to wait so long.

It was our first time at Haven, our food was very good, we have a variety of different tastes and everyone in our party of six found something that they enjoyed. Our waitress was very sweet and kind. We will be back! 
We came here for Mothers Day lunch and it was amazing. The food was delicious the drinks were great they have very nice non alcoholic options. The tempura cauliflower is to die for. It was very busy so the service was lacking a little but our server acknowledged this and apologized over all it was a wonderful experience 10 out of 10 will recommend and come again soon

I was so excited to eat here - have been for years. Made a last minute reservation, however when we arrived, the two walk-ins in front of us were seated first and both parties on the patio. Our table was not under heat and it was a miserable day, so that definitely sullied the experience. We were also asked by the hostess if an hour was enough time for us to eat as they had a reservation coming in after us. Again, I had a confirmed reservation, so I wasn't quite sure why I was asked this. The food was delicious and our server was great, but I wasn't happy with the overall experience so I'm not sure I'd go back especially with so many great options in Langley for dining out.

It was my girlfriend's birthday and the servers made her feel extra special with champagne and excellent service and food. We had the ribeye and the salmon and both were perfect!
Haven is a real treasure in heart of Langley: some inventive menu choices, a varied and ample beverage menu, a relaxed yet interesting atmosphere (which enables good table conversations!) and excellent service. Our server Ashley not only handled all orders efficiently and promptly, but was able to respond to enquiries we had due to some specific diet constraints. Would recommend Haven!
My first time coming to Haven and it will definitely not be my last time. The servers were all amazing. Every staff that attended our table whether it was clearing, dropping off food taken our order we're absolutely amazing. One of the waitresses suggested to switch the syrups in my espresso martini to a coconut syrup best Preso martini I have had in my life. The food was amazing unique and delicious. Try a cauliflower bites not your cauliflower bites. They are definitely unique and very flavorful. There was a birthday party on the patio and I would say the noise was loud due to the customers as I could not hear the music, but I was able to communicate and talk with guests which is what was important. Definitely recommend this place.

I wanted to show the second floor to my friends who were visiting for the first time, but it's scheduled to open after 5:30. So, we decided to have the first round downstairs and plan to go upstairs for drinks for the second round. However, the atmosphere didn't allow for it. We'll try again on a busy weekend when the second floor is open. There weren't enough sashimi options at Haven Poke. I understand that ingredient costs and labor costs have increased. It would be great to have options like adding more sashimi. Still, the taste was good. It seems like it's a tough time for businesses these days. Hang in there!
Finally decided to give this spot a try! Our server Alexis was AMAZING! Such an amazing server, so friendly, goes out of her way, so good with all her other tables too! The hostesses a brunette and blonde were incredibly unfriendly and didn’t smile once, even while we were there. We got worried our server would be rude but Alexis was great! The food is okay but not great. I was hoping it would be better than Cactus at least but it wasn’t and Cactus is a chain restaurant with delicious food every time. The dill wings didn’t taste like dill although the crunchiness of it was great! The coconut prawns and the gyozas weren’t anything special, tasted average and similar to frozen packaged food. I’ve definitely had better at other restaurants and $90 for 3 appetizers, a main and 2 sodas was a little steep only because it was very average food. The Haven Burger was decent! We would definitely come back to try other items next time only because Alexis was awesome and we’d come back for good service like that. But please tell your hostesses to be friendlier and smile. We were there for an hour and they battered a smile maybe ONCE with a colleague.
