Called in our order at 5pm. Told us on the phone it would be ready in 20 mins. Arrived at 5:20 and we waited 25 more minutes until the order was finally done. When I checked in with them at 5:30 and they said they were just getting started on it. When they were finally done and I asked why it took so long, they were completely unapologetic and said it was just little late.I know this place gets a lot of take out orders but it’s just not worth it when you can be the order that they just forget about and you’re chasing them down. The food here is not good enough for that.

Was decent Chinese food. I had the deep fried tofu, which could have been crispier, but was tasty. I appreciated that they also substituted their egg noodles for rice noodles in their mushroom chow mein, albeit for a nominal fee. The Buddha's feast was tasty, and veggies were cooked well.

Best Chinese take-out place in Langley. Be sure to order in advance as they are popular and sometimes can take a bit to make the order, but its worth the wait!

Ordered $80 in Chinese food from here last night and both my daughter and I were vomiting sick within a couple hours of eating it. Woke up this morning to a stomachs ache and diarrhea expelling undigested noodles. Something wasn’t right.

So tasty and so generous!!!! We're so happy to have found a classic Chinese place. Get the Breaded Almond Chicken, it's all-white meat with perfectly crispy exterior and delicious almond pieces, and the container can always only barely be shut haha. The Mixed Vegetables in Szechuan sauce is soooo good, love that spicy sauce. Even their fried rice has such great flavour. We got yet another food delivery app (DoorDash) to be able to order from Star Lake and it's totally worth it, we've ordered 4+ times and the quality has been the same excellent every time!

Overall, pretty decent food here. However their most recent take out menu ( you aren't allowed to dine in since Covid) has seen some drastic price increases (up to 40% for some items) In addition to no longer getting a 10% discount for pickup orders, you will also be prompted to tip when paying.

My order included sweet and sour pork. I asked for the sauce to be on the side and they ended up charging me EXTRA for that? What? I wanted it on the side because I wanted LESS. And the rice was wayyy over cooked.
