I went here around 6:45 and they were already packing up and had dropped trays and lids on the floor and placed them back on the counter (not food safe). My queso was hard and smelled rotten. The rice in my burrito was clumped together and was hard!! I usually love taco del mar as a guilty pleasure once in a while but I won’t be going back. It was disgusting…?

Stopped here today (Feb 21, 2024)I asked for 3 hard shelled tacos. She asked if I'd like guacamole, I said yes. She literally put a tsp worth for all 3 tacos, so I politely asked for more on the last 2, so she scoops about 1/2 a tsp more for both tacos. She then proceeded with the meat, similar thing .. 2 scoops of meat for 3 tacos.It is bad business to be "extra cheap" with ingredients and worse if a customer notices and you still don't oblige.I shall not be returning to this location.Not approved!Ms. FancyGoogle ReviewerLevel 7, with over 8 million contribution views

I used to enjoy this place but today when they made my burrito, the staff touched the register and cash with gloves on and finished my food after with the same gloves on.

They had no guacamole, they could’ve went and bought some from save on foods and bought some avocados and made some but what Mexican restaurant runs out of guacamole that is a staple you don’t run out of ,it’s not like it was that busy ,it was like a subway setting , they could’ve been creative.

Ordered twice in one day to see if they could follow order directions, first time made with cabbage,Second time didn’t give any lobster but a shrimp taco and they added cabbage again when I requested none. And my other tacos had white sauce instead of salsa. Joke of a place, these employees must be high or not give a fudge to get it wrong 4/6 times. Best of luck but there’s plenty of other places in town I will try and never order again as you simply don’t follow instructions or get the order right even once.

I ordered through Uber Eats and although the food was decent and the service was decent, their fresh baked cookies were laughable. They were Dad’s Oatmeal Chocolate Chip Cookies!!!Crunchy store bought cookies for $1.25 each…like seriously… I purchased four cookies for five dollars and could’ve purchased the entire package at the grocery store for that price…false advertising to say the least.?

This Taco del Mar catered our first staff meeting of the year and their service was exemplary. They set up the taco bar for us and even supplied some plates I'd forgotten. Highly recommended!
