I came from work exhausted and I was craving sushi, I ordered on SkipTheDishes since it's my go to app to order food. This place had 9.9 stars on there so d*** me thought "It must be great" and I was extremely happy they had my chicken teriyaki rolls. I couldn't be more disappointed, they barely cooked the rolls, the chicken was not even fried (horrifying), the rice was white instead of brownish and the wasabi came inside the package very near my rolls and God knows I can't handle any spice. The taste is even worse, it's like tasting Styrofoam. The worst of all, I had to force myself to eat since it was my only dinner

Tuna was moldy, called to advise & although they seemed to feel bad about my experience… I never did see a credit back on my card like I was promised. Seems they are closing down at the end of the year.

Halu Sushi is the childhood restaurant I grew up going to, this restaurant, serves the best Sushi and Japanese cuisine, and nothing has changed. I'd recommend Halu Sushi if you are looking for good sushi and Japanese cuisine if you are in the Maple Ridge area.

Best Bento boxes I've had in a long time; not only in the Pitt Meadows/Maple Ridge area, but including the Tri-Cities. Quick and courteous service; in general a great place to have a meal... I heartily recommend it!

Ordered a chirashi don for the first time- what a disappointment! When I opened the box I was first surprised to see little amount of sashimi and lots of rice. Was surprised again to see many of the usual ingredients were missing including octopus, fish eggs, shrimps and eggs. Overall, after finishing the sashimi there was still plenty rice left, still hungry, and regretted ordering from them. It was a waste of money. I would not be returning.
