I tried to like the food but the service alone left an awful taste in my mouth. When I politely mentioned my food was not spicy I was passive aggressively looked at then brought siracha for my curry to say I was confused is an understatement. I still ate it as I was going to pay and did without complaining but then after waiting 20 minutes for the bill while the server walked past multiple times with no interaction nor water refills after being asked (i still tipped) and after paying WAITED TEN MORE MINUTES for a take out box while being ignored as the served walked past us several times again with somehow aggressive no eye contact. (The only people to ask us how our food was were fellow customers)

Food was good with good portions. Samosa fell a bit short on flavour. Butter chicken rice and garlic naan all good. Veg korma was good. All where medium hot just right.

I was blown away by this hole-in-the-wall restaurant when I was in the area visiting family over the holidays.Seems like a family run business and we went in during a slow time of day (3pm) to eat.The food was unbelievably good and the staff were amazing.We ordered shrimp biriyani, aloo gobi, garlic naan, Chana masala, butter chicken and something else I forget. Every dish was delicious, perfect medium spice level, deep flavours, and tasted so fresh and way better than most casual Indian restaurants in the city (Vancouver).It stands out as a gem in this small community, I would even make the trip all the way out there from Vancouver too, because it is also WAY cheaper than anywhere else. Four of us ate and even had drinks for under $120 after a tip.Highly recommend for foodies.
