So impressed by this A&W store and the integrity of the people who run it and work there. The food is consistently the wonderful A&W quality and the store does right by their customers when something does on occasion go awry. This is a small town that is super busy in the summer and times are challenging in terms of finding, training and retaining people which makes this store all that much more impressive! We will continue to happily give A&W, and this store in particular, our patronage!

We did a quick stop and used the drive thru. Food was made the way we ordered and came out quick and hot. Just the way it should.Dietary restrictions: Gluten and dairy intolerant but the burgers with a lettuce wrap and the sweet potato fries are a great option.

Its your regular every town's A&W. However I have to give a big kudos to the staff at this location. I went in to get a couple chicken buddies, without realizing I had forgotten my wallet at home, until I had ordered and it was time to pay. At first I explained I forgot my wallet and would be back later, only to remember I have google pay. After linking my bank app to my Google pay, I proceeded to order again, except when it came time to pay this time, my virtual debit card would not process payment. We tried a few times, I even switched to the virtual visa card, which also wouldn't compute with the machine. Finally after many failed attempts, I had given up and ready to go home. Now I probably was not going to bother returning with the wallet, as I currently use my legs as my main transportation means and it would now be a time crunch to return in time before close. I was halfway across the dining area to the exit when the very friendly and empathetic gentleman at the register, offered to get me the 2 chicken buddies. I thanked him graciously as he explained a similar situation that had happened to him recently. If you read this fine sir, thank you again and kudos to Merritt and to this A&W location for having outstanding staff and genuine members of society. Cheers to everyone getting chicken buddies, and hears to my new "chicken buddy" ?

This A&W is one of the only fast food places we will stop on our road trips. It's refreshing to see a place that still hires teenagers to work and give them the valuable and necessary experience to grow towards their careers. The young man who helped us recently was professional and polite. Thank you to the management for recognizing that tens of thousands of BC teens are now struggling to find entry level work these last few years as these jobs become harder to come by for teens.
