We found out about softy’s at mill bay because we had it at the malehat skywalk. As someone who is plant based and celiac, i felt like I was in heaven at their food truck in mill bay. My kids enjoyed chocolate/vanilla soft serve in a gluten free waffle cone and my mom and I had a creamsicle float and root beer float. Sooooooo yummy!!
Was in Mill Bay for a quick visit and thought we would try Softys out for the first time. We ordered a vanilla/chocolate twist dipped waffle cone and a raspberry chocolate dipped waffle cone. They were both very tasty. They have a very cute little airstream trailer and a covered outdoor patio set up with lots of seating. The service was also very well done. Amazing.

Stopped in on our way home to Nanaimo from Victoria. Very cool little ice cream truck in the parking lot near the Thrifty Foods. We had a couple of sundaes. The Strawberry one was very good, but the Black Forest one was amazing. The ice cream is vegan but you would never know. It didn’t have a strong coconut flavour which I do not care for.
