The service was slow despite being 1 of three groups here for dinner. Seemed like they didn't actually know what was where as they messed up my order and my bill. Maybe they could use a better POS software to track and maintain service.Overall the atmosphere is dingy and the bathrooms are in disrepair. The view could be an interesting selling point but it would take a lot of investment in approach to highlight it.Food was okay. Cooked well but bland. Nashville chicken sandwich was apparently amazing though I didn't order it.Maybe it was an off day. Might be worth checking out if they square away some of the basic issues

We finally tried Scratch and it was great! The service could have been a little faster, but appreciate the extra time spent on making sure the dishes came out right. We noticed how well the staff and the cooks communicated - very much a team effort here! And we loved the food; how it was handmade, with a little something extra. We will be back :)

This place has really gone downhill. Was there before and it was fantastic, but now it is terrible.Waitress abandoned us after taking 1/3 drink orders. One of us never got to make a drink order at all. Meals did not arrive at the same time, desserts arrived very far apart, to the point a second waitress jumped in because ours had so clearly abandoned us.Prime Rib and Steak Sandwich were overdone. Fries with the steak sandwich were over salted to the point my son couldn’t eat many. We were all very hungry and didn’t bother sending it back.Chocolate mousse that my son ordered was basically pudding. He ate it anyways, it still tasted good, just not a mousse.Apple Pie volcano, which previously was so good, my husband was trying to reverse engineer the recipe was inedible. Ice-cream was very freezer burned, pastry was overdone in parts, and almost raw in others. The syrup was so thin it ran like, and tasted like water.We did say something about the apple pie volcano, as we couldn’t eat it, but it was charged to us anyways. Other than that we didn’t complain to the waitress, though it would have been hard to as she was absent.Also, the lights kept flicking on and off, with increasing frequency. That may have been out of staff’s control, and I’d normally forgive it, but it was aggravating.

Dined in for a girl's dinner. The three of us were very satisfied with the service, the amazing food and the delicious white sangria. Portions and quality of food was amazing. We had the mussels, the schnitzel and the short ribs. Recommend Scratch for a date or girls night for sure. Most recently we went in for dinner. Had Scratch bugers,which we love, and Sangria. Food was amazing as always. Service was good, which I know can be a challenge in these times. I know there have been mentions of decor and warming the feel of the place up... honestly the food is so good I don't mind.Another enjoyable meal....many thanks!!

Had a family member come in from out of town and wanted to try something new. I have heard nothing but raves in The Scratch restaurant. The service and food was some of the best I’ve ever had… and in my home town !! Thoroughly impressed … thanks to Christian for your wits and charm!!

Great food and filled with people who are passionate about what they do. It shows in the work they put out. Excellent drinks, great steak and seafood, friendly service. This restaurant is going to go places.There are some bad reviews, yes. At the end of the day, we have to take everything with a grain of salt. We are all human and humans make mistakes. Two appys and wine. The calamari was heavy breaded and the calamari that wasn't breaded was basket overcooked. Want served with tzatziki but a mayo side side that fitted crab cakes better. Served with a slice of lemon as the Brussels sprouts were like a drink garnish Very hard to squeeze lemon flavour over the food.
Nice ambiance, friendly knowledgeable staff, and delicious food... what more could we ask for... can't wait for patio season!

Fantastic service from both the bar and kitchen, food and cocktails were far beyond expectations. Recommendations from the bartender were spot on and perfectly reflected my tastes. Christian is the epitome of customer care and satisfaction, I ordered every single thing he recommended and enjoyed it to the fullest. Food was prepared with grace and style and full of flavour, this chef is truly a blessing to the kitchen. If these employees weren’t so dedicated to their craft I would have gladly poached them for my own crew. Fantastic restaurant, I will have to return regularly with my construction gang and with my wife and family. Cannot rate this place higher for both single satisfaction and group outings.

We were very upset with the restaurant. We ordered a drink appys and dinner some nice wine.we had just taken 3 bits of our appys when they gave us our dinner. The food was tasty but it was too much all at once we felt rushed. We wanted to enjoy everything not feel rushed and we like our food hot.The waitress apologized bug UT was to late. First time here and the last.

Our first time at Scratch did not disappoint. Best calamari we have had in a very long time. Also gluten free which was a nice surprise to see as most are not gluten friendly. The Nashville chicken sandwich was tasty and a huge get portion. Our server was very personable and knew exactly when to be there and when not to. Highly recommend to anyone in Mission.

My husband and I went in for dinner while staying at the Best Western Plus Mission City after reading the great reviews. It was amazing. We shared the bruschetta 2 ways and the schnitzel with mushroom sauce. Both were so delicious we are seriously considering going back tomorrow night again before we leave to go head off on the rest of our holiday. Our waitress was so helpful and smiled constantly and the other staff was very friendly as well.
