Imagine paying over $45 for take-out food but staff refusing to cut your wrap in half and wrap separately; to save the cost of one piece of wax paper, which are apparently very expensive. Been my favourite spot to hit for over 20 years, until today.

This place used to have amazing food. Now the ingredients are terrible. They use that chicken that has the filler in it. They’re cheeping out. Nothing like it used to be. Sad seeing such a great place go down that road.

I've loved this place for years, but the food is bland these days. I just had a beets in balsamic and herb salad, and I couldn't taste balsamic whatsoever. It tasted like plain beets. The enchalada tasted like some slop I whipped up at home in a jiffy. MEH

Used to be really good but in the past 5 years every time I’ve ordered from this location they’ve never gotten the recipe for anything ordered right, they seem to now always just throw the most random things into all the wraps so none of them are what they are supposed to be. Very

Great atmosphere. Quick service. Southwest rice is served cold, too much corn and not much taste. Chicken enchiladas had a lot of vegetables but served with cheddar cheese, too much corn and only the chicken pieces are warm. Very disappointing taste as a meal. I left half of it on the table. $23 lost. It great value. ?. Too bad as I usually love Mexican food.

It's easy to differentiate which 5star reviews are legit or not, and equally as easy to spot legitimate complaints. The complaints that I have read are mostly apologetic. That's a major red flag.... who ever this Manager is should start monitoring this feedback, could save your Job/Business.

Terrible service. I sent my daughter in with specific instructions and even stuck my head in the door to make sure she was getting it right. She was, however, after I closed the door the lady told her to put back what she had and gave her something different that we did not want. Went back in to get corrected and no responsibility was taken. Purchased what we wanted and was given no refund for the returned incorrect item.

For me the experience this Sunday was way below the past. Food was cold and spicing below expectation. Till staff were not helpful with questions about discrepences in on line menu. I know they won't miss one customer but I won't go back, and I was a frequent visitor.

Chicken enchiladas very disappointing. Chicken was odd. Looked like it was boiled minced stuff. Shudder. Yah, well, I used to live in California. I wanted to give them a try. I could do a better job at home. And thanks for the teaspoon of sour cream for the two enchiladas. Nanaimo is so lacking in good restaurant food. Even their fast options are sad. Would not recommend this place.
