My partner and I stayed here on Valentines Day and wow, what an amazing experience! The Savoy upgraded our room, and the champagne, cupcakes and rose petals were perfect. We also got a private hot tub at sunset and altogether we were just blown away. The Savoy really went above and beyond to make our night special. Thank you! Will definitely stay here again.

Great place to stay for a ski trip. Ben and the staff were so helpful and offered lots of local tips, especially for skiing.Made the most out of the roof top hot tub (even in -25c) and sauna. Great location, short walk to the best restaurants and bars.Tried to re-book for our return leg of the trip but they are oversubscribed and I’m hardly surprised.

Front end staff especially Ben are excellent. love the roof top hot tub, Beds very comfortable. easy walking to shopping and restaurants. Only negative is Nelson"s parking, meters everywhere even side streets, the need for free parking to enhance the shopping and dining experience.

This is a great option for Nelson. The team is quick to respond and friendly. From allowing me to use the laundry for my ski clothes to leaving us a kind note, Savoy Hotel was the perfect stay for me and my fiancé. Not to forget they also upgraded me upon arrival.Rooms: The space was amazing. Nice functional kitchen, strong showers, good open space living room and an awesome massage bed.

Overall, it was a great experience. The hotel was designed well, except for some odd spots. One of the fixed-to-the-wall side tables in our room was more than a foot away from the bed, which was inconvenient. The fancy showers were great with all the jets, but I noticed the base of the shower needs a really good scrub. More jets mean more nooks and crannies you need to scrub. I also noticed a few other things that could have used a deeper clean, but overall, the place was great and clean. The hot tub and sauna facilities were the star of the stay, very nice rooftop seating area. I quite enjoyed the layout of the hotel and the art displayed everywhere; there was a very nice mural outside our window.

The hotel is overall a good place to stay. The staff is friendly and helpful. The central location is great as it’s in walking distance to most of the restaurants and bars. The ability to dim the lights in the room as well as in the bathroom is a nice feature and great to have. However, if you plan to stay at a Saturday night be prepared to not sleep until 3am as you can hear the nightclub located below the hotel quite a bit and feel every beat of the music. Also be prepared for a fire alarm in the middle of the night caused by the nightclubs fog machine which can’t be silenced by the hotel staff. You’ll have to wait for the fire department to show up.Overall, that was my last stay at the Savoy as it’s from my point of view not family friendly and is lacking some major maintenance.Rooms: Rooms are quite nice with standard interior for a 3-start hotel. However, we stayed in room 7 and there were a few things to be noted.- there was an obvious water damage with mold- the shower cabin does not close properly which creates a “lake” inside of the bathroom every time you take shower- our daughter (3 years old) found a e-cigarette behind the bed which makes me wonder how well the rooms are being cleaned at all.- the window couldn’t be completely closed as well

We spent a New Year’s Eve here and had such a great time. So close to all the shops and entertainment. Spent the day in the mountains, came back to an awesome hot tub on the roof, Had a super comfy sleep in the king bed and had a quiet sleep in. Can’t wait to go again :)

We stayed at this hotel this passed weekend for 3 nights. We left out the card for our room to be made up for 2 days and it never happened. They have a hot tub but you were only allowed to reserve it for 30 minutes. The room is very tiny. Worse place we have every stayed. Also to leave your vehicle out you would have to move it every day or park it about 4 block away in their parking lot. This was the worse stay ever in Nelson.
