Sadly, Arvinds is no more. The new place has the menu of a food truck. It's like going to a nice restraunt that serves $20 hot dogs.

Eww, the biriyani was so bad, I asked them to make it spicy instead of spicy they made it salty. There is lots of salt in it. They should work on this. Please it's a request, I wasted my 17$.

Ordered online, waited. Email sent with. Meal Total and tracker on progress of food for pick up. Waited 20+ min. Tracker read unconfirmed. Went into restaurant she confirmed order, went and got it already bagged. Let them know I would of been her sooner. Ended up paying $1.00 more then email bill, as well read that take out. Gets 10% off. Never recieved. With that may never go back.

We went for the lunch buffet without having too many expectations but the food was really good and I liked the variety that was available to choose from. Would go again!Vegetarian options: There were a number of vegetarian options available in the lunch buffet. Good variety and flavors.

Never the same cook in the kitchen. Sometimes the food is very good, other times to hot or to bland. Butter chicken taste and look like soup, made with cheap frozen cold cut chicken.

Lunch buffet is awesome value and the selection is great. 4 veggie curries, 4 meat curries, and a few other things. Fresh naan brought to the table regularly by very nice waitress. Unfortunately nothing is spicy, but that's the price you pay for wide appeal.Overall fantastic, highly recommended!

I love this place and eat here at least twice a month. The food is excellent and the service (generally) very good. As a vegetarian, I easily find lots of variety to enjoy. Dishes are well seasoned and the amount of spice (I prefer mild) is diner's choice. Some portions seem a bit small for the dine-in price, but are excellent value for take out. Depending upon the server, table service can be a bit slow, especially if the take-out service is hopping, which it often is.

I ordered biryani and I was servers sautéed rice with raw broccoli and cauliflower. Taste was pathetic. Pricy. Even though the restaurant was empty but still I thought of trying. But owner was not at all happy to see his only customer at 8:30 pm. The place is extremely smelly. Not recommend at all.

Small lunch buffet that is very decent for the price. Selection on there has been different on my few visits, so that is nice. Have order from there on skip as well and have really enjoyed my food from here.

If only I can give zero star for their biryani, I’d go for it. It’s no where close to biryani, plain basmati rice mixed with butter chicken sauce and boneless chicken for 17$?!! Should have been named curry rice. Highly disappointed and never ever going back to try any other dish. Always wondered why this restaurant never has any customers for dine-in.

Authentic food. Buffet worth trying as it has good variety of options. Buffet is cost 15$ pp while has choice of 4-5 non veg and 4-5 veg food. good hospitality and service. Restaurant is old but clean. Definitely recommend that

I had a lovely lunch at the Arvind's this afternoon , it had been a few years since my last visit , formerly know Indian Star for their lunch buffet $9.99 , now it is $14.99 and family run , small place but clean , it is not a spectacular buffet , but average Indian comfort food , not a big station , few tablets put together , variety of chicken , meat , curry also salad and rice , not a bad optional for $14 .99 , quality not shabby , but tasty and flavourful , do not judge a book by it's cover , the menu not expensive at all for dinner , what impressed me most is the friendly young girl sever , very friendly , Can Do Attitude ! very full and satisfy , so if you are looking for good value , good tasty food , good service , try the Arvind's in New West ! truly recommended it ! and their Lunch Buffet now sever 7 days .
