I come here whenever I’m in the area for my eye appointments and it never disappoints. Both the platters and donairs are delicious. I also tried the homemade custard, baklava, and cherry pie this time which were all delicious. Mona, the owner, is so friendly and sweet and gave me a free shot of espresso to go with my baklava. I highly recommend this spot!

Wonderful take out restaurant.Lovely hostess, Moona if I remember correctly. She was so friendly and helpful. Very proud of her product, and rightfully so. Definitely deserves 5 stars.The food is very good, I gave 4 stars due to personal preference. I prefer more of the Egyptian style falafel with more herbs and such. Hers is very good, just a preference. Rice is flavorful and fresh. Lovely little salad with lettuce, onion, tomato, turnip and lemon, was a perfect compliment to everything. Hummus was on point, both regular and beet. Oh that garlic sauce, get some to take home, I used it with my roast chicken, divine dip. Fresh pita. Fries perfectly cooked.Atmosphere is simple, set up for takeout. Very clean, I could barely smell the floor cleaner, loved it. Bathroom spotless.I was very happy and will be going back to try the chicken and lamb.Thank you for a great experience and conversation.Vegetarian options: Falafel is vegy and there is other items as well. Whole menu is small so don't expect alot.Parking: Lots of spots on the street.Kid-friendliness: Easy for kids to get inWheelchair accessibility: Street level, easily accessible.

Went here just before closing time but they were still so kind and welcoming to us. Lovely couple who spoke with us as they made the food and made sure all our orders were just right. The food was amazing and made our night amazing. Big portions, enough for leftovers the next day!Dietary restrictions: All their meat is halal, made it so easy!

I lked to support small family run businesses and this one certainly fills that bill. My son and i I stopped in one afternoon because we wanted something fast and easy. The food tastes like it could have been cooked by a chef in a 5-star or Michelin restaurant which isn't far from the truth. I had the Lebanese chicken plate and it was fantastic. Next time I plan to try the lamb which I AM SURE IS BEAUTIFULLY COOKED thanks to the couple's Australian background. My son had a chicken donair which was equally tasty. So if you want tasty Mediterranean food cooked to perfection by a warm and friendly husband and wife, that really knows what they doing, look no further than Toma and Mona's New West Donair & Grill.
I tried this place on a whim and it was such a pleasant surprise. The lamb shank platter was recommended and the meat was so tender and flavourful. The whole platter felt like a good home-cooked meal. The owners were very kind and friendly as well. Will be back to try other dishes!
