Yesterday I walked through Edgemont Village at night to look at all the beautiful lights and stopped in at a few of my favourite small businesses. I started at Kokomo and ended up at the other end of Edgemont Boulevard at Bjorn Bar.The pastries here are incredible and the atmosphere at Bjorn bar is perfect. It’s warm and inviting and they have a nice electric fireplace with seating around it. They did a really amazing job of decorating for the holidays. It looks like it’s out of a Hallmark Christmas movie.The young girl working recommended their mince meat tarts. It was delicious and a great choice for the holidays. I also really love their quesadillas, roast beef dip and their cherry turnovers. Bjorn Bar also has an incredible assortment of gourmet dessert bars.Bjorn bar is well worth a visit if you’re in Edgemont Village in North Vancouver.

Hands-down absolutely the best bakery on the North Shore for fresh pastries and a coffee. We love to eat in the bakery when meeting for a coffee and sweet dessert, but we also love to order their amazing cakes to take to the office or home.Our only less-then-positive review is we really wish you still made Pavlova.
