Very nice atmosphere here with comfy seating and art on the walls. There's a large secluded seating area in the back which you might miss if you don't know it's there. The vibe was very peaceful and then a family with three very loud kids came in...didn't really bother me, but just be prepared that you can't necessarily count on a quiet environment since it seems to get a big crowd coming from the beach/park which of course can include families. My lunch here was great, I had a masala chickpea wrap, a slice of carrot cake, and a turmeric latte. I especially enjoyed the carrot cake, it had big pieces of dried fruit which was delicious and gave it great texture. Their turmeric latte was spicy and comes unsweetened, but not bitter. The baristas were mostly nice but seemed a little disorganized, although I think one of them might have been in training. I confirmed that everything was "for here" 3 times and they still gave me my sandwich in a to-go box which is my pet peeve. Overall, though, I really liked the place. I just was at Deep Cove this once for a little day trip so this was probably a one-off visit, but if I lived nearby, it’s the kind of place I’d want to come back to.

Not sure if it was just an off day or what was going on but the service was terrible and the chai latte I was given was bad enough I dumped it and bought another down the road. It's a pity because the cafe itself was super cute and had all these lovely little details like cup recycling, sweetener options etc.First off the cashier couldn't seem to remember a fairly straightforward order of 1 cookie and 1 chai latte albeit with oat milk but I got asked about 3 times to clarify/repeat. When I did actually get the chai latte as ordered it tasted like watered down oat milk without any flavor added at all.I was asked how it was (I guess the barista who made it hadn't tried that chai syrup) and actually told her it didn't taste like anything other than watery oat milk and that she may want to try it herself to make sure it wasn't something about that particular syrup. I was VERY taken aback when she then just said oh and directed me to the simple syrup on the counter (to clarify, it was the utter lack of anything at all resembling chai spices that was the issue. It actually tasted like no syrup had been added) instead of offering to either add another flavor shot or remake the thing. I don't think I've ever thrown out a drink before anywhere let alone one from a cafe rated 4+ stars but I guess there's a first for everything.

A cute and quaint cafe strategically located away from deep cove crowds with disappointing staff service and food presentation. We ordered chocolate banana crepe, cafe latte and samosa and found a sitting space next to the window. The staff lacked “service with a smile” and basic food presentation skills as the coffee had spilled all over the cup, handle and saucer and no efforts were made to clean it or redo it. The banana chocolate crepe had chocolate sauce poured over it in a way that made us lose appetite.Anyway, hope enough training will be given to staff towards service and food presentation.Vegetarian options: Try to have more veg options if possible.

Cute coffee shop in the Deep Cove area! They actually have a whole seating area in the back in a backyard garden like vibe which I originally didn't see. Their iced latte was delicious, especially on a hot day. Great treat post paddle or hike in the Deep Cove area!

I nice little cafe at Deep Cove. They have a cozy patio in the back for you to enjoy your items. The patio has a little garden too which is nice. The staff are friendly and courteous. The latte was good and they have some food options ( muffin, scones, some sandwiches, etc. ).
