I love this place a lot! Literally blended into the vibe of the North Shore aesthetic as it is tucked into a very vintage little shoppe, that you can barely see in the Lower Lonsdale community. The only thing you can spot is that little sign hanging right outside the window. This is one of those places, if you know, you know it is a Green Leaf Sushi.I was in the Lower Lonsdale area, because I work along the North Shore now, and had to come drop by for a light lunch before going back to work. I searched it up on Yelp where to eat, and this was the spot. I parked and then walked along the street, passing by this place a couple times and couldn't find it until I looked up and saw that sign. LOL. Yup, it is Green Lean Sushi alright!!I walked into the restaurant and was greeted with a great big smile from the person at the front. The guy at the front was extremely nice and welcoming. I told him it was hard to decide because I have always love the Green Leaf Sushi in K-town Burnaby area a lot. And I told him I have always love their Mackerel Oshi and I always ordered, but I wanted something different that day. I ordered their Aburi Tobiko Roll, and my god it was delicious!!It is different in how they made this version of the Aburi Tobiko Roll, because they have to roll it first in order to then aburi the top of the sushi. The best part was the little japeleno at the top of it to make each bite just a little bit more fruity and spicy. Amazing!! On top of that, they gave me a small side of cooked Mackerel as a side piece! When I told them how much I love mackerel!! I was so happy! It really made my visit so special for sure!! And yes, I will be back sometime in the future bringing co-workers for some sushi!!But to be honest, the best part is just the restaurant itself. It is so beautifully aesthetic to the Vintage North Shore style it fits perfectly. I love the little lights and their decor. It wins for me in every aspect. And of course, they play KPOP on their speakers, I was dancing to Twice and eating my sushi. Perfect atmosphere for sure!! Love the place, and will be back for sure!!

Green Leaf Sushi in North Vancouver has the best presentation, tasting and quality out of all the other Green Leaf Sushi restaurants! Ordered from another Green Leaf location and the oshi sushi were falling apart when trying to pick it up to eat. The other location did not care for presentation either as the sushi were mushed…. This made me realize that this location is excellent. Keep up the good work!

Recently, a friend and I had the pleasure of dining at Green Leaf Sushi, and it was an experience worth sharing. Opting for their Signature Aburi Platter, we embarked on a culinary journey that left us thoroughly impressed. From the moment we stepped into the restaurant, we were greeted with a warm and inviting atmosphere. The sleek yet comfortable ambiance set the stage for a memorable evening. The staff were attentive and friendly, ensuring that our dining experience was nothing short of exceptional. Now, let's talk about the sushi. Each piece on the platter was a delightful fusion of flavors and textures. The expertly seared fish added a unique depth that complemented the freshness of the ingredients. It was evident that the chefs took great pride in their craft, and it showed in every bite. What truly stood out about our visit was the perfect balance of sophistication and approachability. The restaurant manages to deliver top-notch sushi without any pretense, making it an ideal spot for both casual diners and sushi enthusiasts alike. In conclusion, our experience at Green Leaf Sushi exceeded our expectations on every level. From the impeccable food to the welcoming atmosphere, it's a dining destination that I wouldn't hesitate to recommend. Whether you're in the mood for a casual night out or a special occasion, Green Leaf Sushi delivers an unforgettable experience.

A small sushi spot located in lower Lonsdale. It was our first time at Green Leaf. We ended up trying their special platter because it has a variety of options for a decent price.Overall the sushi was pretty good, but maybe needed a little more flavour. Something was missing but we would love to give it another try, and explore the menu. The sushi was beautiful though!

No complaints and perfect. It was our first time to visit and have a lunch. Taste and interior were awesome. We ordered Aburi platter. It was more ideal for 3 to 4 person. We brought half to home. Next time for sure, I will tip more. Sorry for being cheap today. If I tip afterward, I would pay more than I actually tipped today.

Aburi style sushi was a new concept for me. I’m from the states (Miami, FL) and now living in Seattle the past year. This place was exceptional. Delicious in every way, and such a cool concept. Great ambiance, atmosphere, taste, all of it.I ordered 6 different kinds. Every one was amazing.Everyone was super nice as well which is always a plus! Thanks all! Will definitely be back soon.

Best aburi on the North Shore - presentation, taste, quality, location and building are all on point. ?? Love Salmon nigiri, Tobiko Aburi and Atlantic Salmon Aburi. Would be perfect if the portions were larger. Even after spending $30+/per person, we were still not full. Also, adding real plants and greenery (not just the artificial ones) would up the ambiance even more. The building has so much more potential.
