DISGUSTING!!!! RIP OFF!!!!! WORST FOOD EVER!!!!! Came here due to convenience of where I was around at today. Didn't do much research other than near by ramen as the craving kicked in for it. Here's the list of BS why you should NOT come here 1) service / staffs are sadly just not mentally there. I've never walked in a ramen bar or Japanese resto alone where workers aren't welcoming and bubbly. You can tell something has drained these peoples soul from their energy 2) the place is dead! No one was there and for a well designed place, I am in shocked how dead it is here. That should of been the sign. It was so dead I had to ask the front person if the resto was open. No "open" sign displayed on window what's so ever!! It's definitely an awkward entrance 3) the food is EXPENSIVE for what it is. My bill came Up to 97$ (yes I still tipped regardless how bad the service was - no one ever came to see if it was good the one time the Caucasian service came to see how we're doing she had realized our chicken Karaage was almost finished and had this nod head and smirk assuming it was sooooooo good since it's almost done that she didn't ever bother to ask how the food was. Let me tell you how the food was: THE MOST DISGUSTING RAMEN IVE EVER HAD IN VANCOUVER. Zero flavour Zero effort 2 fkn ramen on their menu and chose THE worst broth as well I can't even believe how bland and or SALTY AF this place is! The beef tataki was so salty I feel like it was done on purpose because of their misery inside that resto The chicken karaage was so bland I wanted to choke one out The shoyu was SO AWFUL AND SALTY that I want to puke The miso soup..... omg.... How can ANYONE SCREW MISO RAMEN!!! This has got to be a nightmare coming here!! Tourist price Just an awful menu I DO NOT FOR THE LIFE OF ME RECOMMEND THIS JUNK RESTO!! At all!!

Nice place and ambiance. 8/10Appetizers: Definitely try the dirty fries and karaage.EntréesShoyu ramen is okay. It just lacks that umami flavor.Miso is good! I love that it is not too salty and with creamy flavor. The pork chasu, i love the texture but not the after taste of pork, that taste has to disappear.

A hidden gem in a non-descript building. The magic starts as soon as you enter. Feels like it would hold its own in Yaletown, and yet there's no bridge to cross. The open kitchen allows you to see how hard the staff is at work readying your tasty dishes. Highly recommend the dim sum especially the late night serving times so you can match in their amazing drinks. It's a short list but all of the staff are trained to make them. Get the Tokoyo Mule and the Kagawa Margarita - so good.Friendly local staff - attentive and knowledgeable. If you're on the shore and haven't been here yet, make a reservation and enjoy! If you're not on the shore, this is worth crossing the bridge for!

We took our visiting friends here for dinner after sightseeing in North Van. We were pleasantly surprised that they had vegan ramen, and they were able to make it allergy-friendly. We thought our little ones will share a bowl, but they ended up eating one full order each. It was that yummy! Our server was very patient to make sure no allergen was in our orders. Five star food and service!

Overpriced and mediocre ramen. I got the Shoyu Tonkatsu and the dirty fries. The fries were really good but the ramen was very underwhelming. The noodles were not ramen noodles (as mentioned in other reviews) and the broth was missing umami. Definitely seems like a restaurant that is catered towards those that prioritize presentation over authentic flavor. Would not recommend if you want good ramen.

We had high hopes for this restaurant after it being recommended by a friend. However, have to say very disappointed in the tasteless broth and low quality noodles. We had it delivered and food was lukewarm when it arrived. Gyoza was ok and the marinated eggs were great, although we felt they should come as standard with ramen. Will look elsewhere in the future.

Used to love going there for lunch. Now they have a new menu, new Chef & don’t open for lunch any more. Went there for dinner, broth of ramen not as flavorful & pork not as tasty. Tuna Tataki was so so. Chicken karaage was good. Service was good.

Cozy and warm place. Lovely service and the Raman is the perfect size for me! I wish the pork was a bit crispier on the outside but the flavour was delightful! Also tried the Brussel sprouts and broccoli ? which was a great appetizer. Will be going back for sure!

Not for ramen lovers! As a whole, the atmosphere, service, and servers were nice but the ramen was disappointing (hence the 3 stars). Would not recommend if you're a fan of ramen. Shoyu ramen was quite bland and tasted like a simple chicken broth, I also make a better Japanese marinated egg at home. The chashu was quite tasty and was my favourite part of the dish. The ramen was a 2/5 star given the lack of flavor and is relatively expensive for what you get. Definitely better options in Vancouver but there really are no other North van options.Chicken Karage was quite tasty and had a light batter. Tuna tetaki was decent, but a little underwhelming with the flavours.Would come back for appetizers as some sounded delicious but would not be back for the ramen.

Great service and atmosphere but the food was just ok. I had the chicken karaage on rice and while it was a great portion, the chicken lacked flavor (rice was great though) . Will go back to try the Ramen.

Loved this hidden gem in North Van. The ramen is delish, as well as the gyoza. Plus the atmosphere was really lovely.

Went with my wife and two kids (9 & 2) and we had a great time. The wait staff were lovely, the cocktails were interesting and excellent, and the food was fantastic. What a gem of a place to have in North Vancouver. We'll definitely be coming back to try out the dim sum and to have a drink with bar snacks for a date night.

Super tasty ramen! The best part is the broth - it's perfectly balanced, especially if you select the spicy option, and it stays hot in the bowl throughout your meal (which is rare) thanks to the beautiful stone/ceramic bowl it's served in. Marinated egg is also super silky. The folks in the kitchen are skilled with the deep fryer too and can delicately fry things like thinly sliced lotus root. Noodles could be springier or more al dente but still good. Recommend this place!

The Caluliflower karaage is the best thing I've ever tasted! The staff were so lovely and the service was quick. Would 100% come back again!
