I visited there around 8:30 pm on Tuesday. The cashier was so rude to me. Not going back there. Quantity was good for the price.

This is a hidden gem. The prices are so reasonable I did not expect much, but the Bento Box was as good or better than several other places we frequent which are twice the price. Haru Sushi will be our go to sushi place from now on. Excellent selection, portions, freshness and price too. Wow.

This is the next sushi on the north shore hands down. Amazing service and prices every time. Highly recommend any of the rolls, the beef don buri bowls and the Miso soup. Cute atmosphere inside as well and the food is amazing. Portion sizes are good too, you’ll have leftovers which I always look forward to. I hope they never change.

Great food! Salmon, tuna, wild Salmon, and Toro nigiri some of the best I've had. I would agree the rolls aren't the best for value (we had 6 tuna as part of a combo with small tuna portion). My daughter had chicken teriyaki that she said was "chef's kiss"...lol. Everything was fresh and we had lots of soy sauce, Wasabi and ginger for take out. The tempura has a thicker than what we're used to batter but it was a nice surprise.

Haru sushi is always a great place to go for sushi! The fish is always fresh, decently priced and when you walk in everyone is so friendly. I don't think I've ever had a bad experience with Haru Suhi!Everything tastes amazing and always hard to pick what to get!

If I could give 0 stars I would. So much rice on a roll you can barely see the fish or whatever it is they put in the middle. Some pieces as big as my fist. My 5yr old can make a better roll than this place. Even the soy sauce tasted weird. Disappointed is an understatement. Do not order from here. We've never thrown out sushi before, but tonight our family and parents in law literally ate less than half of the order, it is gross. Reading the other reviews, I don't understand what happened. Unreal. Maybe they have new kitchen helpers? I've never ordered from here before but from the reviews I would've never expected this. Mounds of rice left on our plates after trying to get a normal size roll bite.

I have been in the restaurant several times, at least 10 times. At first, I thought this place was great. Decent meals for a very cheap price. But then I had a really bad experience in the restaurant. I went there with a group of friends and we wanted to sit at a table together as a group of 7. We went to the biggest table and sat down. All of a sudden the waiter comes up to us and says that this area of the restaurant is closed. When we asked him why, he asked us if he hadn't made himself clear enough. So we had to split up the group and sit on separate tables. But that wasn't the worst part. We went ahead and ordered our food. Halfway though our lunch, a friend of mine found a white hair in her roll. I told the waiter that there is a hair in the food and expected at LEAST an apology. He initially was sperrig that there even is a hair in the food and then responded: "What colour is my hair?" He had black hair so I said that I just wanted to let him know about the problem. Then he pointed at the guy working in front on the rolls (also had black hair). He, sarcastically, thanked me for letting him know and walked away. When I walked up to pay I saw that an old lady also works in the kitchen. She has WHITE hair. Look, my problem here is not that there was a hair in the food, that shouldn't but can happen. My problem is that he acted like nobody in the restaurant has white hair and therefore it isn't their fault. He straight up lied to our face and did not apologise. All in all, the service is rude and very disrespectful. We didn't feel welcomed in any way.

Food is great but the waitress who entertained us was so rude! It doesn’t mean that she’s stressed out or something, is already enough for her to vent it out to us customers! We talked to her nicely and asked nicely and politely if we have questions, but she ended up talking to us more and more rude! One of our friends even cried because she’s too rude! No matter how stress she is, it would never be an enough reason for her to say, “YOU DON’T HAVE WORK, YOU DON’T UNDERSTAND HOW HARD IT IS.” Well, we have work and we understand how hard it is but we never got rude to customers just because we were so stressed out. I AM SO DISAPPOINTED with that waitress! We don’t tolerate any of that, and swear, if you’ll just let it go now, sorry to say but that kind of attitude might be the downfall of your restaurant.

I can't believe I'm giving this 2 stars, because the quality of sushi is so abysmal that I had to throw half of the rolls away. Most of the rolls are 99% rice/1% fish, and most of it disintegrates when trying to pick them up. I won't be coming here again. Perhaps why I'm giving it two stars and not one is that it's fast and cheap. But then again, you get what you pay for (or less in this case)

Too much rice and little filling. Worse dragon roll i have ever had, there is almost nothing inside, the roll is mostly just the black rice which I had to pay extra for. Also it all tastes pretty bland. Went here because it seemed like the prices were good. I am happy to pay more for better quality.

Value value value. Good quantity everything. Stay away from the less common items, I ordered the BC rolls and unfortunately they were still covered in fish scales. Great tempura and gomae salad.

I love the food at the restaurant. The prices are cheap and affordable. The service was excellent my tea was always refilled. I will come back as a loyal customer. My buddy and his family love to dine at the restaurant. I found it funny that the waitress did not bother to check our vaccination passports and perhaps she trusted us.

Don’t go to this place bad service. Totally bad service. Doesn’t speak straight English.

A moderately priced restaurant located at Lonsdale & 20th, really good Sushi, Sushi rolls, combination plates with generous portions. Friendly comfortable Asian atmosphere restaurant run by happy, courteous staff. Myself & Goose order take out weekly… pictured is the Sashimi Chicken Teriyaki bento box we usually order this with Sunomono salad. Goose gets some of the Sashimi. A really nice Restaurant on the North Shore worth checking out.

This is not the place to go if you’re looking for high-quality and well-made sushi. This is the place to go if you’re looking for monster portions, quick service, and cheap prices. It was very filling and seemed fresh enough, but there’s definitely better stuff around. Great for high school students, not really my forté.
