Let's call it 4/4. Why not 5 stars? I haven't tried the pizza yet from their forno oven, so I can't fairly give it 5.Great spot to meet friends and colleagues after work or for a little date night. There are a few TVs but the set up is better for conversing.Many great beer options to choose from. Same with the food options. What I did have was spot on delicious, and the other items I saw coming out looked great (especially the burgers).Service was great! It's been pretty quiet the few times that I've been in and sometimes that means servers are busy catching up on other tasks. But we were never left without quality checks and the beverages never ran dry before a fresh one showed up.Overall great experience on multiple visits.

I went here with my sister over the weekend for some lunch. I heard about happy hour menu for drinks and food.The restaurant and the interior was very clean. I’m not sure why it wasn’t busy here. Anyways we ordered 10 pc wings ($8), Truffle fries ($8) with Mimosa ($5). Chicken wings were okay. It tasted like something I can easily make at home. Truffle fries were amazing. The portion was big and it was packed with flavours. I hardly tasted truffle in it, but it tasted more garlicky which I didn’t mind.Mimosa was great! Although I tasted some wine in it, the drink was refreshing. Service was pretty memorable. Staff were very kind and friendly they greeted and smiled at us. I’ve rarely been to an establishment where staff were so friendly and smiling especially in Vancouver. Ladies were doing fantastic job serving customers. Angry Otters is a great pub for a dining with friends or family.

We came here for a bingo night. They play a song (usually a Xmas one but not always) and you’d mark it off a square if you had it in same column and was from the same music artist. Everybody was singing along so it was so much fun! We were 4 couples who had eaten here before. My wife ordered the Spartree basic burger and a Mo’morro Blood Orange Cider which was really good. A few others ordered the same cider so it was a popular choice. I had a Maple Bourbon burger which besides bacon and the sauce had mushrooms, cheddar cheese and other veggies. To drink I had the Dat Juice pale ale. Both the food and drink were great as was the service!We were very lucky and our table won 3 times. The prize was free appie coupons that could be used at a later date. The company hosting the bingo was also having some music trivia in January so we’ll likely come back for that.

Great spot to stop and grab a bite and a drink. Services, great, and there's plenty of room inside. Parking with a little tricky for it is out back behind the restaurants.But once you find it, there's plenty of it.
I’ve been here 4 times now, every single time the service is absolutely horrible, the food is very generic and bland. 2 of my friends like this place so I made an effort to try it again and ended up walking out after 15 minutes of waiting for a server to at least acknowledge our existence. There are a lot of great places to eat in north van with friendly staff - this is NOT one of them. Don’t waste your time or money.

My friends and I came here the other night for trivia. The wait staff were very kind and let us join 2 tables together as there was 10 of us. Between the 10 of us we ordered various dishes. I ordered the beyond meat burger with fries which was yummy. The trivia was great fun, the atmosphere was great and I can't wait for the next trivia night! I appreciate the wait staff being so kind and patient, thank you.
