I recently visited here for their Wednesday pizza night, and it was a delightful experience. After a recent trip to Italy, I found myself missing the authentic pizza I had in Rome. Thankfully, I discovered they offer pizzas that rival those in Italy. The pizza was fresh, flavorful, and transported me back to the streets of Rome. If you're craving authentic Italian pizza, I highly recommend giving it a try.

By far, the best margarita pizza I have ever had. The dough is well-cooked and pizza sauce taste homemade with fresh ingredients. Such a peaceful atmosphere and amazing service. The restaurant itself is spotless and the washrooms are incredibly clean. You’ll definitely see me here again.

Everything we tried last night was excellent!Chicken Parm, chicken alfredo, Hawaiian pizza, tiramisu. So glad we found your restaurant! We come to North Van 3 times a year for about a week each time. It's a happy time when we discover a really great place to eat!Service was very good too, such friendly and accomodating people. We left feeling that our business was really appreciated and that the food they present is made with love.

Chicken Parmesan was rubbery and tough. The marinara sauce wasn't very good. Pizza was burnt. Service was very good.

Delicious pizza, a calm and clean environment and the server was polite. The pizza bread was freshly baked and warm out of a wooden oven.

Dear Barzan,I wanted to extend my deepest gratitude for your exceptional kindness and compassion in delivering the food order by yourself, to the young child in the palliative care unit of the Lions Gate Hospital. Your willingness to go above and beyond touched my heart profoundly. Your act of kindness not only brought comfort to the child but also immense gratitude from our entire family. Thank you for embodying such genuine care and empathy. Your gesture truly made a difference in our lives during this difficult time. With sincere appreciation,Mano

Delicious pastas and lasagna. We went here for dinner on a Friday and they had live music! Very pleasant atmosphere and service. Highly recommend for Italian on the North Shore.

Waitress kept making mistakes on our order. Got a well done steak after ordering medium rare. Didn’t send it back because I was afraid I would leave without eating anything. Had to go to the bar to request our bill. Very disappointing on Valentine’s Day.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Palermo Restaurant, and I must say it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. From the warm ambiance to the delightful cuisine especially Eggplant parmesan  and Calzones, every aspect of my visit left a positive impression. The staff at Palermo were incredibly welcoming and attentive throughout my meal. their knowledge of the menu helped guide me to some truly delicious choices.

Palermo cucina is one of the best places i have ever been too, the chefs are incredible and put all there love and passion to what they are making containing a lot of patience in order to make all of the customer satisfied. The whole restaurant its self is organized and the staff members have so much manners and i always tell them how well they do.

Unfortunately a very bad experience start to finish. We went for Valentine’s Day and were really looking forward to it, as we were gifted a gift card a while back and have been wanting to visit for dinner for a while based on good reviews. We arrived at 6pm to beat the crowds - lucky we did because we observed MANY people having to wait for a long time even though they had a reservation as many walk ups were seated before reservations. We ordered starters and mains and asked for the starters to arrive before the mains. Shortly after, all dishes arrived at once and the servers gave us a blank stare without communicating to figure out how to shuffle the plates so they would fit the VERY small table. The food itself was average at best and we expected better for the price. As an example - I ordered caprese salad with a massive amount of arugula which wasn’t edible as it tasted old. I usually love arugula. The pizza was undercooked in the center too unfortunately and getting salt from a server was impossible. The servers were very unorganized, not aware of their guests looking for help, not helping to clear tables and not checking in with guests. Multiple people ended up walking up to the bar and even into the kitchen to complain about incorrect orders, missing utensils, no one taking orders for a long time, etc. The servers were very rude amongst each other too - e.g. one of the servers rudely told a newly hired server that ‘she doesn’t care as it wasn’t her table’ and all that in front of their guests. We weren’t offered a dessert menu, but ordered the tiramisu. It took 20 minutes and 4 servers to get the tiramisu. To top it all off - when we got the bill, they wouldn’t take the $100 gift card that we were gifted because apparently ownership changed (no apology given - btw the name of the restaurant hasn’t changed, so business practice wise very questionable response). Additionally they at first wouldn’t honour the pizza day deal that our first server proudly promoted to us. I had to argue with the manager for $4 until it was refunded to me after all.All in all - VERY unfortunate and poor experience. This once charming restaurant is now lacking authenticity, customer service and quality in our opinion. Maybe more quiet days are easier to manage for them…

We went for dinner last night at Palermo Cucina and it was absolutely wonderful! The minute we walked through the door we could smell the pizza fire place and we received a warm welcome from behind the bar! Our server was exceptional, beautiful, kind, efficient and lovely, making our experience fantastic. We ordered 4 different pizza's and they were all delicious. We felt we were in Italy eating true Italian pizza's. We had such a nice relaxing evening, enjoying our best friends, with wonderful wine, and great food in a cosy clean atmosphere... I can't wait until we go again!
