Stopped by to pick up some banh mi for our hike around Capilano. Definitely a small mom & pop restaurant. Didn't see anyone in the front when we walked in, but some people who walked in after us were obviously locals and just sat themselves. Pork and Vietnamese Ham 4/5 (basic banh mi not bad to satisfy your cravings) Grilled sliced pork 5/5 (seasoned well) Goi Cuon Nem Nuong 3/5 (I couldn't taste the Nem Nuong because there were so much noodle in the roll)

This is my first time here. I feel the atmosphere is good, the environment is comfortable, and the food is good!

The food used to be so on point here. Today it tastes like the beef stew was made from an instant kit and the broth is thick, goopy and loaded with beef fat. They decided to provide chicken noodle soup when we ordered chicken pho. Said pho at least 3 times. The worst food experience of all time. Too bad.

Pho cured the soul on a cold winter's day. Portion was large and good value for money. Would go

It was a very unpleasant eating experience, a restaurant that has been around for a long time but uhhhh, this happened at one of the Japolo restaurant branches in North Vancouver. Yes, it was raining and cold. We came with our family hoping to have a delicious meal, but unfortunately the other waiter was still there. friendly but the other one, I'm sorry, is not friendly at all, asks for a small bowl to just put it down using his left hand, then just puts the dirty plate away after eating and takes it straight away, without saying a word, we are paying for the meal, not asking for it, just so you know that , and the taste of the food is ordinary, the atmosphere is ordinary, the service is extraordinary and not friendly

Really old building with very limited parking and you'll get towed if you park at Denny's next door. The flavors are just off. I've eaten at a lot of Vietnamese places in many countries and states and this one was probably the worst. It wasn't very clean inside either.

This is my fabourite Pho place on the north shore by far. Soup has great flavour, food is always very consistent, love the side dishes. Great spot for some delicious noodle soup.qParking: Outdoor parking beside restaurant, probably 6 to 8 spots. Some additional street parking behind the hotel.

DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY!! GO ELSEWHERE!! Why? Let me tell you: when you first walk in it smelled bad, but we were hungry before we catch the ferry. So, we try their deep fried wontons, which only 5 pieces came out, never have I ever been served that few before. We also tried their Pho, I had the chicken and my partner had the beef brisket. We both said Large orders, but mine was definitely NOT a large, I even put the bowls beside each other and my bowl was smaller as I suspected as soon as it arrived. Because come on, I know my Pho bowls after loving the dish for many years. The food itself was okay, but my noodles were over cooked, they fell apart while eating, then I was eating them by bits and pieces. Theenn, I go to the bathroom and see a bottle of comet the cleaning agent and see it on the floor next to the floor vent with a lot poured around and in it. Yuk! Nobody wants to see that!

We've been going here for years for the best lemongrass porkchop on rice (61) and beef noodle soup (22). Don't let the sketchy decor and dilapidated building deter you - it becomes part of the charm over time and keeps the crowds away. The later you arrive, the more tender the beef in the soup. The soup is rich and packed full of flavour. The porkchop is tender enough to eat with chopsticks, no knife necessary, just pick-up and dig in. They must marinate it for hours and use a charcoal grill because it is packed full of juicy, smoky flavour. Be forewarned that parking is scant. Do not park next door at the Denny's or you will be ticketed/towed.

Parking situation is very interesting, but the food is great, and the service was insanely fast. Would recommend.Parking: There are a few parking spots. Not a lot. Most parking in the area is reserved for the Denny's.

The best pho! We keep coming back to this place because other places can’t beat their flavor. They give lots of meat and veggies in each portion.

This North Vancouver outlet of Pho Japolo is probably doomed. The location is a prime development site so the restaurant property is not a decorator's delight. But if you enjoy Vietnamese food, it's worth a trip. The menu is arranged in various classes, from beginners to the adventurous. If you don't see what you want, the restaurant suggests you make up your own combo.
