Comical what they call "happy hour" order fish and chips, $14, felt like it was less than the child's portion. Myself and a friend ordered fish and chips on "happy hour" and was given a handful (if that) of fries and 1/2 a piece of fish. My friend ordered a second piece due to how small the fish was, an extra $6.... A full size was $23.. with the extra piece he got 60% of the full size for a $1 less.. upon asking why this was the case, we were provided with the answer " happy hour sizing" and " if you have a problem i can give you the manager number. Honestly shameful, the place is a great spot and service has been good in the past, i hope was a one off....

St Paddys day at an Irish Pub. Aweful service, actually no service. Sat down for 20 minutes n no one approach our table. On your busiest day, please plan better and have extra staff. Also saw a table refusing to pay for nachos. The nachos look like a frisbee stuck on some paper.

At 9:25pm on a Friday, live music belting it out, with half a dozen patrons, the surly black-haired Irish she was chasing customers out telling me the kitchen was closed. I went upstairs to the Cove Room that uses the same kitchen and they took my food order! 20 minutes later The downstairs Raven was closed!

Tasty … but for $25, I would expect a larger salad portion, not an appetizer size which leaves one hungry…

Good food , wonderful staff & great atmosphere like an old world British pub.Family friendlyKid-friendliness: Very accommodating to little people & good portions on the kiddos menuWheelchair accessibility: You have to enter through a patio area that's a little bumpy. It's a bit tight, once you're inside the staff are very helpful and will set up a table to accommodate your wheelchair.

Went to the new updated Raven, service was friendly but the food was terrible. If you don't want salmon or brisket, half the menu is out, place is lacking some good old comfort pub food. Get some nibbles and great appies, sandwiches, chips and salsa etc, pub food that you gobble up while watching the game. Really good pub food and this place will be a hit. Moscow mule came in a cocktail glass and was not good, drink menu was lacking too. Brisket was bland and tasteless. As a local down the street, Disappointed.....Update:Service was great, but for the love of God, take your menu and toss it in the oven that only knows terrible food..food is God awful, it can't be that hard to make good comfort pub foodUpdate12/23:Your menu is terrible.....food attracts people, not fresh paint. There is a reason your liquor sales are much higher than your food sales....throw the menu out start all over. Go rip off cactus or earls and put a pub style spin on it. It's not brain surgery02/18/24New upstairs is great, lights need to be dimmed, like spotlights, live music the other day was great, but again it all comes back to the menu. Have great food and the rest goes with it. Pubs and good appies go hand and hand. Without booze this place would die. Great service today though

I moved into Deep Cove a few months ago and have started coming to the Raven quite regularly. The food is always good, the staff are always friendly, the music is great (especially the live music on the weekends), the Sunday Roast is a nice tradition and the Guinness is well poured. My only criticism is that they have been playing with the menu a lot as of recent. And so some of the best dishes have suddenly disappeared, like the great appetizer platter and the deep fried mushroom balls that my step-daughter just loved. Also, the nachos used to be epic here but the last time we ordered it, it had nothing but cheese and the beef brisket we ordered on top. No tomatoes or onions or jalapeños or anything. It was a let-down, to be honest. There are times when I’m totally up for a more simple nacho but there are times when you want the epic one. Maybe they could add back an epic version so we can get that when we want it. And generally, I wish they wouldn’t get rid of some of these traditional raven dishes as they add new items to the menu. Overall, though, this is a great spot in Deep Cove and my family loves coming here.Parking: The parking lot is great and has a good number of spots, but it does have a few pot holes that haven’t been filled so just be careful.Kid-friendliness: Very kid friendly. We bring my 10 year-old here all the time.

We went for Sunday brunch yesterday and quickly left. The bartender made the worst drink I think I’ve ever had and then overcharged us for it. This place is a dump , and I highly recommend moving on and finding other options if you’re hungry. The Raven used to be a great spot in Deep Cove, but don’t waste your time going here anymore.
