The pictures in other reviews were a bit misleading for our experience, as presentation was definitely not a strong suit for our meals, but it was overall decent and the service was good. Pricing is on par in comparison to other restaurants along the strip.

Food was good. Service was very poor. Watched a couple leave as they weren't even offered water after 15 mins of waiting. If I go back, take- out would be the way to go.

Staff is friendly as always. Food is great everything we visit. Sweet spot right across from the beach. Nice sized patio to sit for a meal especially at sunset.

After 2 years of pretty bad restaurant experiences, my faith in the industry has been restored! I have actually had 3 good experiences in a row! The Cambo Beach restaurant is the most recent and it was excellent. We were seated quickly for lunch and chose a patio table outside. The view is of the lake which is incredible, Erica our server was quick with water and took our orders. She was very knowledgeable when we asked questions and very friendly. Our food was superb. I had the Teriyaki Chicken bowl with coconut rice and my grandson had the Curried Chicken. Both were really delicious. Erica kept checking to see if all was ok or if we needed anything. The prices were standard for the area. I would absolutely recommend this restaurant.

Great service and fantastic foods. However, we were a group of 9 and when we received our bills there was an 18% service charge. When we asked why, we were told that they automatically charge this fee for groups of 8 and over. It's something we should have been told before we were served!I tip on service and shouldn't be forced to pay a fee. It's really a great restaurant but be prepared if you are in a group of 8 or over.

We sat outside. It was relatively quiet that evening. Later that there were cars and bikes with loud exhausts cruising the street. It would have altered the atmosphere. Service was good. Out food came quickly. The staff was friendly.Parking: Beach front Street parking - depends on the time of day and the season

We visit every year when we are in Penticton, one of our favourite restaurants. Highly recommend the Sesame Chicken and you MUST try the spring rolls! My only negative is the price of kids meal and the tip added to bill. $14.50 for a kids meal is too much :(. And I don’t mind the tip being added (we were a group of 7) but then the service should be top notch (drinks refilled regularly etc). Just my 2 cents.
They charge for seasonings to repeat customers who WILL NOT be returning. We should’ve asked for our tip back. Customer service does not exist at this place!!!

Great spot on the beaten track but you feel like you're off the beaten track! Excellent food - we're locals and have had lunches at Cambo every summer since they opened - the food is reliably top notch. Friendly, efficient service too. One of our go-to restaurants on Lakeshore Drive.

This picture is $5 worth of salt (10 packs)! We are here on holiday and bought take out two nights ago (which wasn’t good and the smallest portions ever) and added a 20% tip even though we didn’t eat at the restaurant. We asked them for a few packets of salt since they are at the same motel we are staying at. Instead of them being decent humans and giving us a few packets, they charged us. You can buy a box of 3000 online for $25 bucks fyi! Thanks for the lovely customer service as we will never be eating here EVER again.
