Open airy space. Friendly and helpful service. Fried chicken with kimchi and garlicky potatoes was super tasty. Enjoyed a decent glass of rose. Was pricey for two, but not scary for such a great lunch, wine and view over the lake.

What a gem! 3 of us went for my birthday dinner..complimentary bubbles to start. We shared 2 applies.. mussels and beef carpaccio and wow! We sopped up every morsel! My daughter had the pork belly,my son the lamb and I had the pasta with duck prosciutto and fried rosemary! A beautiful bottle of the Cab Franc and we damn near licked the dishes. Our server was so sweet and even ran my leftover pasta out to the parking lot. Fabulous food, a view not to be forgotten

Could have been 5 stars but fell short in a couple spots.Recently dined here for my wife's birthday. The lake and valley view are amazing. The service was impeccable, with the attentive staff enhancing the overall experience. The beef carpaccio was great overall and the lamb papardelle was probably the best dish of the night. The striploin steak, though unique, deviated from the traditional preparation, leaving me with mixed feelings about its taste and texture. Instead of a nice big striploin I was presented with 2 small pieces of beef that one would question the cut if they were not on the menu. It was lacking the fat cap and a good sear/crust. It kinda looked like it was seared on each end then sliced down the middle leaving you with two thin pieces. The chocolate cake for dessert was good but also tasted like it had just been defrosted. The price point was also a bit on the high side as reflected on the bill. Also not a huge fan of the default 18% tip option or the fact that the taxes are added onto the tip calculation. I'm here to tip for good service not tip the government... Overall pretty good night. Might come again and just not order steak. I should add that the wine is also great. Definitely a good winery first and restaurant second.

We are local and Poplar Grove is a go to spot for lunch, especially when we have guests in town.Always delicious and the service is great. The menu changes throughout the year and is always wonderful. The steelhead trout was full of flavor and so well balanced. The view is beautiful. Love the benchpress pinot gris, amount others!

Disappointing experience in the tasting room. The girl assisting us was not engaging, offered little information about the wines and showed little interest in our questions. Out of about 12 wineries visited on this trip to the south Okanagan this is the only one we didn't purchase at. This isn't our first trip to Naramata but next time we will chose a different winery.

We come to Penticton annually for the young stars games. We typically camp & try a few wines while staying here.Rodger was absolutely phenomenal as our wine tasting guide and even showcased a few red wines that I would enjoy (I am absolutely a white wine kinda gal) and the experience in this establishment was nothing short of perfection. I showed up in our camping gear (shorts and an oversized shirt) and in some places, we noticed we can be treated a little differently due to the way we dress. Rodger did not do that. They truly wanted us to have an amazing wine tasting experience and that is what we got. After his recommendation of the restaurant, we went and tried a few other wineries but ended up coming back here for dinner and desert. Jaime & Amy were wonderful & entertaining servers.I will be recommending this place to everyone from this point forward.Thank you for the wonderful experience.

Beautiful place but found the wine underwhelming as well as the service. Almost felt more like we were a burden being there? The person helping us wasn't informative as the last place we checked out, and very quiet, very hard to hear. $10 wine tasting is not waived when purchasing a bottle so now I have a bottle of wine that cost me $60.

Had our post elopement wedding dinner here - food was fantastic and good size portions. The wine and the view were no slouch either… MUST try the honey buns 10/10

We had lunch at Poplar Grove in mid- September. The menu has enough choices to please almost anyone but not so many choices that they compromise on quality. Sometimes a restaurant with a spectacular view skimps a bit on the ingredients or amount of food, but Poplar Grove was excellent. Service was prompt and polite.

Very friendly and helpful staff. We had lunch reservations and they accommodated us doing a wine tasting before lunch, we appreciated it. Great selection, beautiful space. It would be hard to leave empty handed!
