Ate here recently with the family and the service was awful. It was my wife and I and our two children. The server was just not on top of things at all. He brought 1 napkin for the entire table, no sharing plates, no soy sauce bowls etc.We had to keep asking for all of these basic things. Food was great overall but these are really basic service items and this ruins an experience.

[Pro]- Friendly staff- Clean place- Nice ambiance[Con]- Food is just decent(Chashu don was served in a stone bowl but the rice did not get crunchy at all)(Chashu ramen's soup was light but not rich in flavour. Very light body, noodles were clumped together)- Service was slow and seemed very inefficient.(Slow to take out orders. We waited over 20 minutes to get our food, then waited another 10 minutes just to pay. There were four people in the kitchen, four people up front. Despite all that, there doesn't seem to be food coming out of the kitchen, and the staff were all flustered and confused.)- Tea is charged and it's a very small pot of teaWe could have caught them at a busy time (although it really doesn't look like it), but we wouldn't recommend and come back as we would rather travel somewhere else to get a better experience and food.

I asked for tea for drink when they asked for drink. Did not expect they would charge for the tea because they asked water or tea and usually restaurant does not charge for that at least not without not let the customer knows. at the end of meal, they actually charged for the tea that I asked. I wouldn't mind if they know the tea will be charged but they just charged without letting know.

6 for lunch before a movie. 1st visit for most of us. Everyone enjoyed the cozy, open atmosphere and prompt, friendly service. We all had bento boxes, food was fresh and delicious. Generous portions, came out fast. My veggie box had tofu teriyaki, rice, tempura, salad, veg roll, and miso soup. They have a drink menu with many choices, but we had tea & pop. Will definitely return!

Me and my friends were looking for a sushi dinner spot after our afternoon hike in the hills. Surprisingly, they were open! Me and my friends were so happy, so we told them a party of 4 people were coming and they were ready for us!We came around June, during the pandemic, and we were still in the "safety" mode of wearing mask, and cleaning ourselves with alcohol wipes. I loved how the restaurant purposely set up for pick up for food and on top of that, inside they were ready to take only a couple tables of people for dine-in.I love the atmosphere of the venue, and their placement of the tables to keep a safety distance. This was the first time back to eating sushi from a couple months of staying at home, and surprisingly, a sushi joint out here in Maple Ridge satisfied our cravings! The special rolls were so delicious, and competitively priced as well! I ordered 3 special rolls myself, and my friend ordered a don, and something else. It has been a while, but I remembered their rolls were perfectly rolled, and topped off with such amazing ingredients. More like, I was surprised a place like in Maple Ridge had such an iconic spot!!If I am caught out here again with my friends or something, I will be dropping by again for so

Very good sushi, been a favorite stop in for many years now. High end quality with a great variety. A little plnore expensive then some locations but raw fish isn't something to cheap out on.
