Well as you walk in the first impression is very nice, it's warm and welcoming, decorated very classy a great place for a dinner date!! The food was amazing and fresh! You could hear the skillets sizzling by you filling the room with delicious spices. The staff were very friendly and happy to help me with all my questions and requests. Went to this restaurant last night with my wife and two friends, Saturday Feb 17/24. If you want delicious, authentic, affordably priced Indian food, this is the place to go in Port Alberni. The restaurant is located wihin the old Italian social club building so the space is not the nicest restaurant but the food is AMAZING so who cares!!! In my opiniion they have far too many choices on the menu and ALL of them sound amazing and delicious but I couldn't possibly choose so we went for the buffet which was fantastic. Great way to try several dishes at once, next time I will choose from the menu. The staff is so attentive, helpful and pleasant, you really feel welcome and appreciated by everyone. The price of the meal including 1/2 litre of wine was just over $50 before tip, very good value for your money here. We will absolutely go back here again and again, I hope if you're reading this review you will give it a try, you won't be disappointed.

Absolutely incredible food and service.Worth the time to go in amid sit for a meal :)If I had any feedback, I’d suggest offering drink menus or asking if drinks other than water are wanted.You are a little rushed to pack up leftovers and pay.Thing is- it’s SO kindly done, that it’s difficult to fault. But if people are still grazing and actively using their forks, you may wish to wait a little longer before asking them to clear out.I’m lonly saying this to help you guys improve. You’ll always get my business because it’s quite literally changed my mind about my taste for Indian food!Thanks for a killer dinner !

Went for the first time 2 weeks ago. Food was amazing, staff were very friendly. The only thing I thought could use some work is the lighting. It feels like a cafeteria because it's so bright and we went in the evening. Turn the lights down a little and maybe put on some quiet background music and it would get 5 stars from me.

The food smells great, and there is a happy hum as customers talk.I marked the decor/atmosphere as a 4 because I think it could use a bit of a boost, but the food and service are great.P.S. They use DoorDash. So if you have a craving for Indian and don't want to venture into public... you can get it Dashed to you.Parking: Parking easily fits about 15 or more cars, plus there is plenty of street parking.Wheelchair accessibility: There is a ramp down to the entrance of the building and wide double doors for a wheelchair to fit through.

SO good! lots of gluten and dairy free options which we appreciated. everything is seasoned beautifully. Be prepared to wait a little while for the food, they make it fresh, it’s so worth it though. Prices are reasonable and the staff are very friendly:)
