I moved to Port Coquitlam in November of last year, residing in the same plaza as Cafe Delish. I have tried all their muffins, scones, peanut butter cookie and their breakfast sandwiches.I find all the muffins are way too doughy. The cranberry muffin which I tried twice, contained only 3 cranberries. Quite opposite is the scones, so dry and bland.I have been to numerous coffee shops around the lower mainland as I like to hang out with friends while enjoying myfavorite cofee - Americano Misto along with a tasty baked good. Cafe Delish doesn't rank high on my list. Though , I will say their coffee is decent.

I had a breakfast sandwich last week that tasted like paper. zero flavour. A muffin that my daughter had was like cardboard (she didn’t even finish it and she usually eats every pastries). How can you screw up a muffin btw?! But I didn’t bother reviewing it then. But today I decided to do so after having the Belgian chocolate brownie. That one was more sugar than anything else! No chocolate flavour whatsoever. Never mind Belgian chocolate. Honestly, one of the worst brownies you could buy in the lower mainland. How on Earth did they achieve to come up with something like this?! 5 dollars truly went to the garbage here! Extremely disappointing! To their credit, coffee is good.
I’m trying to like this place because it’s the only gluten free cafe in my local area but it’s really hard. Most of the time when I place an order through a third party service, it’s not confirmed within 10 minutes and my order ends up getting rejected or cancelled. Today I ordered through UberEats and my order was totally wrong— I ordered a sausage roll and hazelnut tart, and got a breakfast bagel and pecan tart instead (I can’t have pecans). Tried calling twice and got no answer. Apparently they don’t return calls on their voicemail either. Such a shame, because I really wanted to like this place, but it’s clear that they don’t care about their guests and you’re really just better off going somewhere else.

Drinks were really delicious and rich flavour. But bakery stuff was mostly dry, I ordered a muffin and a donut which was cold and dry. On the other side, staff were amazing and the vibes was so cozyyy!

3.5 rating. Coffee was great. Love the tables / leather padded seating / arrangements - - a change from plastic chairs at other establishments. The bun and muffin was dry. Had them heated up but still dry - hopefully not old? Parked in the well lit underground . On the ground level but the entry door is not handicap ready- I noticed and opened the door for a person in a wheel chair.Wheelchair accessibility: Manual front door on ground level . Front door not equipped with necessary hardware - if you are in a wheelchair.
