I ordered a roll combo from Uber Eats. I asked for a change to BC roll instead of Dyna roll. As you know, bc roll is cheaper than Dyna roll. But they asked me for more money HaHaHa!I've never been to a restaurant like this in Vancouver. I think they're really stupid. I don't think they're good at math. I will never visit or order here again.(Fish not fresh either. Worst sushi and worst service)

Have noticed that Sushi 990's roll size and portions were getting smaller & smaller. Still, gave them another try last night and ordered the Nigiri Roll tray for $71 and was disappointed again with the contents. The rolls were very small, the maki was literally the size of a quarter (see pic) and not even full of tuna. Rather than fill the party tray with actual sushi, they placed 3 plastic cups of condiments (wasabi & ginger) in the tray ... with the 3 cups removed the tray was definitely not full; I would expect a full tray for $71. Very expensive for 'party tray' not full of sushi ... with other sushi options available, I will order elsewhere from now on.

I usually go to the place when I crave sushi and don't want to drive too far. Customer service is friendly and i love that they have fish tanks there so I can watch them while I wait. Always recommend the combo rules. It's a bang for your buckParking: Sometimes when it's busy the parking lots full but it's right across a Costco but sometimes that parking lot is full too. So it's kind of a a chance if you get a parking spotWheelchair accessibility: Inside restaurants, pathways are narrow

I ordered the Beef Teriyaki.It was incredibly tender. Everything was wonderfully seasoned. I highly recommend coming here in trying the rolls as well as the teriyaki. 5stars for a fair price.

This is a very small and intimate restaurant with great ambience. However it can host groups of up to 10, as I've done so with family members. After coming here at least 6 times, I would say I've been happy with my meals and the quality of the sushi at least 90% of the time, so it's very consistent. The food really is great. The service is always good too and attentive. What makes it stand out is the large fish tank in the middle of the smallish eating place. At night it looks really special. Very recommended, especially for couples/dates.Kid-friendliness: Kids love the fish tank. Even though they we're noisy, restaurant staff were very patient and understanding.

Very disappointing meal tonight. First time we have gotten take out and not eaten in house. All 3 of our teriyaki meals had so much oil in the bottom of the container! Soaked it up with paper towels...also forgot to give us 2 rolls we ordered. Called to tell us but werent going to go all the way back to get. So we ended up not finishing what we did get. Not sure what has changed here but nor good at all

As a regular customer, I like the menu variety, but my favourite are the Nigiris and Spicy Chirashi Donburi!If you get the Ebi Roll, I recommend adding Tobiko to it as it tastes better. Adding cream cheese is also tasty.
