It was good, typical pub food and atmosphere. My only issue was was asked for a table on the patio and was told there was a 25 minute wait. We asked to grab a seat at the bar or inside until a patio table was free and we were told once we have a seat anywhere we are unable to change it which seemed very odd. I've never heard of that before. Luckily it was a very nice warm day so we walked down to the river for 20 mins and by the time we got back our table was just getting set.

Beautiful setting / scenery for a lunch or evening. Food is served quickly and is a fair price. You won’t go home hungry!

Always enjoy watching the marine traffic along the river. Ordered a flight of beer from an extensive offering. Split a cod burger with my friend. Everything was delicious! The fries were amazing.

Gillnetter Pub is a nice cozy restaurant and pub that is the perfect place to have a drink, late night snacks, and chat with friends. Even in the winter, the patio is heated and cozy to sit at. At Gillnetters, there are daily specials. My favorite day to go is Thursday, which in particular are wing nights (the whole night), where wings are 50 cents each. Over the few times I have visited Gillnetters, I have got the opportunity to try the dry ribs, the honey garlic, Thai, buffalo, Cajun, and teriyaki, and barbeque chicken wings, the apple crumble, and the prosecco wine. Of the things I have tried, I would highly recommend the Cajun, honey garlic, and Thai wings and the apple crumble. Overall, the wings have the perfect ratio of crust to meat and are crispy on the outside while meaty on the inside. The apple crumble, on the other hand, is quite big, so it would be a nice dessert to share between 2 to 4 people, depending on how hungry people are. On the other hand, I am not so much a fan of the barbeque and buffalo wings. The barbeque wings are smothered in strong prepackaged barbeque sauce and the buffalo wings use the basic Frank’s Red hot sauce. Overall, although there are things on the menu that I like and others that I dislike, Gillnetters is cheap comfort food that I would go back for, and every time I revisit, I order the dry Cajun wings along with a wet wing flavor of my choice.
