The food was alright but the people at the next table were openly smoking in full view of staff. When I complained because it was making me sick all they did was bring me a glass a water because it was apparently MY problem

Terrible service, table was dirty place empty 20 minutes to clean table. People came to front door waited, no greeting just walked out. Our server was slow and it was apparent she did not want to be there. Paid for drinks and couldn't get out of there fast enough. The interior is nice.

A typical neighbour restaurant that is “usually” decent. Today, service was terrible! Food either over or under cooked and returned back to the kitchen. A waitress should never walk away from a table with an empty tray, leaving dishes that have been asked to be removed “multiple” times.

I was there last night at and at around midnight. The night was normal until suddenly we were escorted out of the business and forced to pay without getting our next order (was overcharged on the bill). Apparently, I was accused of urinating in the washroom sink and was kicked out along with my 2 friends for no apparent reason or evidence proving so. First of all, I would never in my mind do such a thing, all I did whenever I did go to the washroom was use the facilities and washed my hands. Additionally, as a short individual such as myself, doing such an atrocious action would require someone who is at least 6 feet tall to be able to reach the sink. Upon speaking to the manager and security upon being escorted along with my friends, they made countless comments about my genatalia, saying that I like to wave it around and constantly mentioned it tons of times. The manager said that I can come back the next day but I had to leave and threatened to put my other friend on bar watch for questioning. He claimed that two people made complaints but they didn't give any further detail about who they were, what time it happened or nothing. I'm not surprised JRG would do such a thing as they always try to host security and have staff to give a "elite downtown bar" type of feel but it doesn't cut it. What they did was an act of defamation, as my friends and I were thrown out with a made-up reason and continued to harass us after. I was a regular at this place, and unfortunately that has came to an end.

We just came to Browns after standing at the door of Livelihood for almost 10 minutes and 20 minutes at the table with no service. There were 7 tables and another 2 waiting. Why do restaunts spend all the money renovating and treat customers like this? Servers should not have to bartend for themselves! I don't blame the servers, it's badly managed.

They’ve done a nice reno and have a nice selection of local brews. The food is decent, but need to change their wings. Smallest wings I’ve ever had.

We went here for a surprise free dinner from one of our sons. Service was very good. 2 of us had the Crispy Buttermilk Chicken burgers another had the Impossible burger. I had the Spicy Ahi Poke. The burgers were huge and came with lots of fries, they were very good. I was disappointed with the poke as it came cold and it was a bit fishy tasting, maybe due to the seaweed in it. I won't be ordering it again.

First time we visited and were hoping for a nice experience but not sure we will go back. We live close by and would love to have a great place to walk to for food and fun but we found that the TV’s that were on way too loud. Unfortunately we could not even hear our friends across the table. We did tell the wait staff ( she was awesome) but said they would not be able to turn down “the game”. Our waitress said she liked working day shifts better as evenings are too loud. Even she had a hard time hearing us. Too bad! Food was mediocre. Same pub grub as everywhere else.

Another restaurant from JRG, which is great to see, since Micky's shut down. Cool/funky decor (even in the washroom, bonus points!) and great staff. Patio was really nicely done, comfy and bright. Lots of craft beer on offer. Good menu selection too. Ahi poke bowl was excellent, with the ideal balance of flavours, textures, and sauce. Breakfast plate was good, but really needed another piece of toast and a little more interesting bread. Will definitely be stopping in again.
