Very Nice and well behaved server. We ordered only one item so he himself brought two plates. Food was brought promptly too. I guess there weren't many people. The main thing I didn't like here was that when we asked for hot sauce, he brought it in a small one inch plastic to-go container. And I was charged two dollars for it. Now it's not a question of two dollars but I did not see anywhere in the menu or was made aware that such things are extra. Hopefully they don't charge for extra salt or pepper next time.

Food was absolutely delicious. The drinks were also on point. I haven’t had a Mexican meal like this in a really long time. We will definitely be coming back next time we visit Powell River.

Don't walk, run! Iguanas is SO GOOD. We had the fish tacos and a chimichanga. The portions are massive, there is no way someone can finish either one of these dishes in one sitting. The lime margaritas took a little longer than normal to reach us because it was so busy, which is probably a blessing in disguise haha! The service was still good given the circumstances, every seat in the restaurant was full and there was a line up at the door.
The flavours are fantastic and I was impressed and excited for the classic yet fresh take on food and drink menus. The homemade staples including chorizo, carne asada, al pastor, salsa verde, guacamole, drink infusions, etc made every dish delicious to the max. Will definately be back next time I'm in town. It was so hard to pick only a few dishes...I was drooling from the moment I walked in the door!!!

Came here during an off peak time so it was easy to get a seat. Got the enchiladas and was greeted by a whole platter of food. I’m not really a fan of beans in general but I must say I tried Iguana’s and had no complaints. Pricing is good considering that I wasn’t even able to finish it.

Día de Los Muertos evening was fantastic. Great decorations, staff in costume, excellent music, and very good food. I had a beef burrito.
